After speculation regarding the impromptu reminder posted on my favorite forum, a few questions were raised. The rule currently stands: "Just a reminder to all posters in the Round Table that the moderators will not be removing posts at request so that people can get "Page King". If you do not want "useless" posts in your thread then I suggest that you don't make them. " The first question was how Staff is going to determine the intentions behind a player's request to remove a post. This leads to the next question, which is if Staff are going to be more inclined towards ignoring players' requests to remove posts. Further speculation indicates more problems with the Round Table subforum. First, the whole rule is based on the right to claim Page King. Now, I know I don't have to explain to most players what being "Page King" takes, but for those of you who don't know, you have to do everything you can to become Page King. Everything humanely possible. Nothing less will do, because doing anything less won't earn you the right to call yourself King. Point being, this rule doesn't explicitly forbid you from calling "Page King," but discourages the means to do it. This defeats the whole point behind claiming your birthright. If the problem is with the number of self-proclaimed kings on Round Table and elsewhere, the rule should forbid you from saying "Page King." Next, Staff not removing useless posts on their own seems more like a staff problem than a player problem. Shame on the Staff for punishing players, even after they just try to help the Staff do their own job. Lastly, the two words "Page King" on an unrelated thread seem like a useless post to me, so simply removing every single "Page King" post ever posted will solve the problem completely. Simple solutions, people.

It was a pretty complex concept, and, while I understand your frustrations, you can see the bracket is full, utilizing only 2 reserves. The bracket was filled in like, 6 minutes, and there were barely any no-shows! This went way smoother than my first tournament. Now, there was a lag spike the first time, but I was halfway into reserves at that point. We had a lag spike today, and things still went smoothly.

Explanation: Each participant is allowed to use 6 Pokemon. 2 of the 6 must be classified as OU, 2 must be UU, and 2 must be NU. There will be no exceptions. Yes, this includes substitution of a higher tier pokemon for a lower tier pokemon. I'm not sure why anyone would want to do that, but I feel like I should say something anyway. A few minutes ago, everyone on the server experienced a pretty severe lag spike. It'd be difficult for us to keep the event going as planned. With this in mind, I'm looking into rescheduling this tournament to a later date, but we have to put this on the back burner for now. Sorry, everyone.
