It's not even a threat and more a "mighty" media attention that got me into looking into the game I backed a few months ago. If anything it's free advertising for them.

I'm not even sure why it's such a big deal. Like sure her experience with not playing any of the megaman games sounds bad but it is irrelevant to her skill. Remember that at one point the original creators of megaman had no experience with megaman. After saying that what I don't get is why they hired her. If there is one thing I don't get it's the fact that she has views that aren't right for the company. The statement where Mighty No 9 should be a girl is probably a bad idea and saying that to the public is going to rustle their Jimmies even if it is an opinion. Why? Well the Kickstarter shows a robot with a masculine look to it and if it was a girl it would be lying about the product people invested their money into. So yea that would be misleading to people. I mean to think of it I imagine her job to be equivalent to a CM on PokeMMO in which they dont really have much of a say in development except she does twitter.
