1. The portable box would either need to cost a LOT more (IMO) or have a pretty good cooldown, yes. Naming boxes, yes!! Auto-sort (or manual options for it) of pokes?
2. Ehhhhhhh, I dunno. That's a big step to kinda overlay the core game experience with metagame stuff. Though as long as it's just like a small button, I suppose it wouldn't be too intrusive, but by allowing you to release something from the PC while not at the PC, you're opening the door to a lot more requests.
3. It's legal to provide the IPS patches, just not the ROMs. I support this.
4. Originally I was gunna say "it's not that big of a deal" but then I saw the first reply, and yeah, that'd be a nice change. Especially after looking through the forum, hah. Just assume if it has a strong adjective to describe the Poke, it's not something you want to trade for
5. Obviously I'm going to have to do that for now, I don't imagine any of these suggestions getting implemented anytime soon. " its dumb that you want the devs to find ways to make your life easier." No, I am making a suggestion in the suggestion forum for a small, potentially useful feature that they could add to the game at some point to make the game better, hence the point of this forum. Thanks for your feedback, my idea still stands.
6. I'd like to eventually see the PC Box system become like a full-blown MMO inventory system, maybe even with a Diablo 3-esque small chest to have pokes (NOT non-tradable ones) available to your other chars, within reason. But a full separate system for managing it, maybe even with out-of-game (or a separate small client) management that you can access.
7.
You can just make multiple copies of one Rom, label them and then put them in one by one to test things out.
LOL the very last statement of my post
And for those who are going to say "You can just copy the ROM in the folders" no. The point is to save time and make things more convenient.
That's extremely time consuming, and for switching between them, a simple UI script could save loads of time in the long run.
8. I think this should be in the game. Complex guild systems are the main thing some people look for in a MMO.
9. Good to see some legitimately active internet people. There's not enough of them these days.
10. I think this is pretty doable. Just a small, in-game menu in the main menu settings to change your texture pack or sprites, based upon switching which ROM the game uses, with the user having different ROMs with different IPS patches applied. This can be useful for temporarily trying out sprite editing, texture packs, or just switching them for various reasons (i.e. for making videos, like with Minecraft, I'm constantly switching texture packs). Or even implementing a LunarIPS-like program in the game and just patch and unpatch the game or something, but that's less likely. And for those who are going to say "You can just copy the ROM in the folders" no. The point is to save time and make things more convenient.
