    I really love that you have to scout the item of your opponent in order to know how to handle certain threats. Its not just leftovers, leftovers, leftovers, leftovers, leftovers, choice band with a salac or lum thrown in there once in a while.

    Idt ttar is banworthy nymore bc scarf allows more pokes to outsoeed at +1. Im sure there are some that disagree which is why a test should happen imo.

    Yea, i understand that the tiering process is going to be long but damn it seems like you people just want to find anything and everything to complain about. I like that the meta is going to change, i like that there are going to be new and exciting threats to worry about, and honestly i think that these items are going to make more pokemon more viable which is awesome. We can freeze UU and NU as they are now, test a OU with a reset (maybe bar salamence) and then go from there.

    They are making dungeons for legendaries, none of which is on the original roms, which will make it incredibly more difficult to incorporate than scarf and band was in this non-expert's opinion. Also Scarf and Band already had the base code in the roms soo that made it easier to code As for the copyright thing i think the names were made simply bc they obviously were a repurposed choiceband.

    I disagree. 3rd gen is almost finished anyway, no legends and no milotic. Dont know what the hold up on milotic is but legends are going to need a huge update that i am sure they are working on. But we got the split with the assumption that we were going to get 4th gen items and abilities. Its been a long time and this is the first taste of that we have gotten to see and i am happy it is happening. It does make the tiers messed up but only temporarily, and fixing them is going to be fun.

    I think that a reset is the only way to do it. We can freeze UU and NU as they are and not allow SS and CS in those tiers until we have solid usage.

    Also you are failing to realize that you cant scout the first round of a tourny. The fact that this cant be used 100% of the time disqualifies it as being able to be considered apart of the meta.

    Is it just me or is the community on pokemmo unlike any other? Ive played a lot of games in the past and none had a community like this one. I know its the only reason i am still on this game. Dont get me wrong its fun to play now with the new updates and improvements but the game has had its low points and w/o the community i wouldnt have stuck around through those. I have made friends, loss friends, made enemies, and i see others doing the same. Some people even end up in short and long term relationships that would not have happened if not for this game and its community. Idk its just something i thought about earlier today, anyone else have any thoughts?

    No i wouldnt use hidden bracket as an excuse to ban something because i understand the difference in tournament mechanics and what a meta is. You know what pokemon walled most of the tier, had a trapper that killed it nearly 100% of the time and we still banned it despite the fact that we could scout? Blissey. Replace skarmory with blissey in ur example and you have exactly what happened with tha ban except no one ever brought up scouting because if they did they would make themselves look extremely stupid. I mean listen at what you are saying. Actually read it out loud and listen to it. "Or if there is a op pokemon and there is one decent answer to it that is actually vailable, you can scout for it and then run the viable pokemon". Youre essentually advocating for leaving op pokemon in the tier bc you can scout for it. If there is another way to look at that statement plz enlighten me.

    Yes you never used scouting as an argument because scouting is not apart of our meta.

    Zebra you are completely missing the point. You would never go into a suspect test thread and say "I can just scout my opponent to see if he is running this threat so he is not OP". You discuss stats, EV spreads, nature, items, and move sets because it is all apart of the meta. Scouting is not ever brought up because it is not apart of the meta, it is a part of our tournament system and our tournaments would be much more competitive if we nerfed it which is a point i have brought up multiple times and you still have yet to refute it.
