You dont use them for battling. You have no access to them during a battle. I have explained this in more than one different ways already.

I'm sure you'd love to cash in massively on that, but keep in mind every other breeder would want to do the same thing and those with money (both real and virtual) would dominate the breeding scene even moreso than they do already.
This is a selfish idea that benefits only a small subset of players that want to multitask instead of making decisions on how they want to use their time.
Breeding is such a huge deal in an MMO environment that 'the other game' decided to exclude it entirely.This doesnt make getting 31s or any other comps any easier. It just gives you something else to do while breeding. If anything it makes competitive battling more active because you can do that while waiting on eggs.

you cant use the extra 3 pokemon during battle. Thats what i meant by they are inactive.

When you initiate a PvP duel or enter a tournament, you'd be given an option to use your comp team that is in the battle box instead of what is in your party.Why would they have to rebalance everything to accommodate 3 extra slots? You are still only using 6 of those pokemon while battling.
I like the battle box idea too. Can you have multiple teams in there and choose from them?

Or you know implement this instead of increasing party slots which would break balance of the game entirely...unless this is already implemented.How does having extra inactive slots break the balance of the game entirely?
Edit: i like the idea of a battle box... still doesnt allow us to do other things like comp while breeding

Something similiar was suggested previously, so this thread shouldn't even exist and you should just have bumped the other that I'm almost 90% sure was denied or never even got much atention.

That suggesting was a separate slot for eggs. Idr how much attention it got. I want a slot you can put pokemon in too, and maybe even allow us to buy 6 of them so we can quickly switch out comp teams during tournies. But certainly people would get use out of extra slots for the egg at the very least.
You cant really judge what the player base would like based off from a thread in the suggestion forums the same way you cant judge anything based off from polls in forums.
There was no necessity for the ocarinas. I also dont think its based in any lore either. But the fly ocarina i have is nice an the money is spent on it helps the game keep running. This can do the same thing.

Both of you still have no legitimate reasons not to have this as a feature in the game. While i have good reasons to have it in. Now unless you have something legitimate to say please stop commenting on this thread. It feels like both of you are just arguing for the sake of arguing,

But what you are missing/leaving out on purpose for what ever reason is that the extra 3 slots, unless it has an egg in it, is inactive. You can not use the pokemon in those slots for battle meaning no core aspects of the game is changed. Again its just a quality of life change.

I like to breed and i would love to be able to buy extra slots so i can breed and comp at the same time. Therefore your first statement is irrelevant. Says otherwise.Then you misunderstand the purpose of the 3 extra party slots. They are simply there so you can breed while having a comp team out and rdy to go, or a team to do gym runs/E4. They are there so you can do match making and breeding at the same time. So that when you are breeding you dont have to just stand around and do nothing. If we are allowed 6 extra slots they can also be used to quickly switch in and out pokemon/teams during tournaments.

We arent asking for 9 mons to play with. This suggestion does nothing to change the game at its core. Its simply a quality of life change. Makes things a lil more convenient is all. The ocarinas messes with the core much more than this would but its still a positive addition to the game imo.

Many times in the anime series, there have been villains or other people who break the rules and carry/use more than allowed during proper trainer duels.You dont have to restrict it to having to be at the PC. You can restrict the switching option to not be allowed at the E4 or battle tower and places like that. But i dont see a need to restrict it elsewhere.

I hope im doing this right, still not completely use to the new forums but the button that use to say "start a new topic" now says "ask a question." Thats the only button i saw so that is the one i pressed to start this topic.
ANYWAY... I was thinking about how nice it would be to have (at least) 3 extra slots beside our party slot to do thing like hold my egg or the next breeders in line while having a full team of comps out. Its just a quality of life change for the game that you could put in the gift shop. I would pay money for that. Hell if you wanted to give us six slots you could allow us to switch which party is active on a whim.

Actually I didnt know this was a thing. Maybe this suggestion is outdated if this is a feature.
Edit: Thats fantastic. Renaming pokemon to keep them organized is a lot less needed with advanced search.

Idk if others do this but i buy breeders whenever i see them cheap. IT would cost me 150K just to rename all of the ones in my mailbox alone, not counting the ones i have in the pc. That is a whole comp poke for me. If this is a problem for others in the community then it should be discussed.

I was going to suggest this again but decided to do a search. To my surprise i had already suggested this. The price for renaming pokes is 5000. That is way too much. The way i keep my breeders organized is i will assign them a number based on which stat they have over 25. This helps when i am figuring out how to get from a series of breeders to the finial product because if i need something with lets say hp, atk, and def i can just search the numbers (it would be 123) and then sift through only the results. But i buy a lot of breeders. It would cost me close to a million yen to rename all of the pokemon that I bought and will only be using as breeders. The money sink isnt worth the added headache caused by the cost of renaming pokemon.

Im on the second badge in univa or how every you spell that region. I use to be able to use the mom to return to kanto but cant now. Is this a bug or am i really stuck until i get the fourth badge?

I have a question and didnt want to post a thread about it. Can i not return to kanto after the 2nd badge? The mom just heals my mons and then says something about wondering what kind of pokemon ill run into.

Unlike with kite, i see your logic and where you are coming from. I just dont think its going to be the problem you think it is. Being able to battle while breeding, imo, isnt going to cause a comp flood. If i need or want to make a comp ill just take the time to breed and forego comp until its done. Ibe never once put off breeding something i needed bc i couldnt comp while doing it. I usually clean or do something irl while breeding. This suggestion is to give us something in game to do while breeding.
