  1. We'll most likely end up skipping the second Kanto. While it's great postgame content for an otherwise single-region game, it's very short and shallow on its own and doesn't add much to a game that already has five regions, including the same one with a full storyline. We'll probably try to include Mt. Silver and Red though. How that will be handled, you'll find out when the time comes. No, sorry. Check your pockets.
  2. Reduce Level Scale to "None" and you'll both battle with your original levels.
  3. This will be fixed next update, thanks for bringing it to our attention.
  4. You can drag from outside or between the slots to highlight without an empty slot to work with. We'll likely be rescaling modded sprites in places where they don't properly fit in a future update. This is intended for keyboard and controller users.
  5. You won't get in trouble due to other games on your device, regardless of how you obtained them.
  6. It hasn't been added yet, but will be sometime in the future when we're not focusing on other features.
  7. It's possible that one will spawn for early story players, yes. There's no completion requirement before they'll show up.
  8. Maybe, depends on whether or not another staff member wants to host another one before the region is released. They will be moved, the safari was always intended to be temporary for them.
  9. We don't ban people for simply having / trading / giving too much money or valuable items. When a player is banned, it's a requirement that evidence is attached to the case by the issuer, which is then reviewed by a different person when the ban is appealed to confirm the player's guilt or to release them on the rare occasion that the ban was questionable. We are neither stupid nor malicious, we can tell the difference between a normal trade and a real money trade, and do not benefit from banning players who follow the rules. Players who break the rules tend not to be honest about it however, leading to threads like this. One of your friends was caught selling a large amount of in-game money, and the other was never banned at all.

  11. This battle occurs in "boss mode", which grants the boss resistances and immunities to certain strategies that would otherwise trivialize it. Fake Out's guaranteed flinch is included here as taking an entire turn away from the boss with only 1/3 of your turn is far too powerful. While this doesn't matter too much for mandatory storyline fights, it matters a lot more in other places where this type of battle occurs like the Halloween event, which features a very difficult boss fight which is repeatable for rewards. With the series being designed around 6v6 battles, a lot of extremely crippling statuses and effects are normally balanced by the presence of other teammates. When designing a battle against a single powerful enemy, some changes need to be made to prevent players from cheesing them.
  12. Innocent people typically don't send threatening mail to the people they previously stole from. You can make a ticket, but playing dumb won't help your cause.
  13. It will be out when it's ready, sometime in the next few months. No specific date is planned at this stage.
  14. I won't reveal how the encounter will be handled, but it will not be resulting in an obtainable shiny. Even if it's untradeable with poor IVs, it would still have a large negative impact on the value and desirability of its species and shinies in general.
  15. You should be able to rebind them if you disable "Show Onscreen Controls" from Settings -> Interface.
  16. We'll look into penalizing leeches for the next set of co-op events. We were hoping to include it for this one, but ran out of time unfortunately.

Hi everyone, Because the event's fundamental gameplay changed during the most recent hotfix, we have chosen to distribute 2 sets of rewards for this event to compensate players who had older high scores. Players who were in the top 50 teams at the time of writing have received the normal rewards they would have gotten if the event ended today. The leaderboard has also been wiped so that players can start anew with the fixed mechanics. Players who received rewards today will not be restricted from future rewards. If they post another Top 50 score by the time this event ends, they will get another set of rewards. We're very sorry for the inconvenience.
  18. Fixed an issue earlier today causing double battles not to trigger correctly during the co-op instance. They now occur when the player initiating the battle has 2 or more party members. Sorry for the confusion and inconvenience.

  21. This difficulty change was unintended and has now been fixed, sorry for the inconvenience.
  22. The alpha Kanto starters are strictly limited and will never be returning. It's intended that players filling the alpha dex in the future will buy one, breed and/or evolve it to register the full line, resell it to get their money back, then repeat for the other limited alphas. It's likely that players will offer borrowing services for them too, and we'll be looking into making these a bit safer in the future.
  23. The roms are nearly identical. The content for both versions are contained within either of them, so we can choose which aspects to use from each. We chose White's story and Opelucid, then chose Black City over White Forest when making that location available as a Fly point. We haven't decided which one we want to develop content for in the future though, it'll be whichever one we think we can make more interesting when the time comes.
