It's intended to be quite difficult, but it's plenty beatable with sub-optimal teams if you build a bit for it. Like with event bosses, you'll have better luck if you prioritize bulkier mons over fast and frail ones. Support moves like Reflect, Light Screen, and Safeguard can also make the fight a lot more comfortable, and bag item usage (including X items) is infinite.

This change was intentional as that species can breed with anything except for itself. Sometimes it's cheaper than the cheapest breeder in another egg group, so you can save a bit of money by using one.

You can't have duplicate held items either.

You misinterpreted, Voltorb Flip will not be gaining more rewards. You'll be able to purchase coins from a new NPC instead.

Score is not coin payout. The rewards for Voltorb Flip are one-time-only due to how easily machine-solvable it is, online tools have existed for it for many years. A coin vendor was intended to be included to obtain more coins, but it appears to have been forgotten. It will be added next update.

It's not that rare either.

At this stage we're not sure what it should be long-term, it's a fairly complicated thing to balance due to its legendary status (can't be too common) and competitive importance (can't be too rare). It's been adjusted a bit since launch based on the number being caught and may be adjusted again in the future once the initial rush for it slows down. I'd prefer not to share the current rate, but it's nowhere near as rare as a shiny and not as common as the 1/1000 I've seen players speculating it may be.

Its rate is the same on every eligible Johto map (not in a cave or building), you can stay in the same place until it shows up.

Lures are the best way to find it due to the increased chance of encountering something per step, and abilities like Illuminate also help for the same reason. Although it can't be found in a double battle or horde, it will override the encounter as if it were a single battle.

It's a cute concept but I can't see us ever pursuing it. A very major downside to applying gameplay bonuses to cosmetics is that it punishes players for wearing what they actually want to.

The Sentret line was skipped as a horde due to how surprisingly poor its canon distribution is. It only appears on two routes in the region excluding the safari, and only one of them is horde-eligible which was instead turned into a special attack EV training location which is more useful to more players. It's unlikely that we'll end up giving it a horde, sorry guys.

That's just a broadcast error if the amount earned is over 32k. The base BP payout is 25k but can be exceeded with BP charms. The correct amount is still earned.
