Already you guys have game breaking mechanics as is, when you finish a region and go to the next, sure you lose all your higher powered pokemon, but you can always take out your under-powered ones that match the new cap of the next region LOL also nothing stopping you from trading for max cap level pokemon and plowing thru the game XD
  2. Not all of us are competing here. I'm honestly just playing to play. Also not to mention, if everyone was competing, they'd all have the same settings regardless, so i don't see how this would effect the game in any manner. if some of us want to restrict ours self by playing with the animations on, instead of off, what big deal is it in the end? it's fair cause the option is always there to be even with everyone else if you want to be.
  3. Has nothing to do with "If you don't like the MMO aspect of an MMO, then don't play it. ", cause it does not get rid of that aspect at all, having an option to hide peeps is useful, and all the other multiplayer aspects are still there, and by your logic, why would they even have a player render limit in the first place :U they have half implemented hiding them already, why not just go further with it. [edit] Also it would only be on the client side anyways, who actually cares what peeps prefer to see or not :U it changes nothing about the game at all.
  4. TBH 5 mins is not that bad of a cooldown, and it encourages peeps to not rage quit in the middle of a battle they are losing, sure it may be annoying if you legit lost connection, but that's worth dealing with TBH.

Instead of just having no content at all, why not just decorate an unfinished area with cones and yellow tape, like the construction sites, and have a few Construction NPCs set up to at least battle with. lol could even have them spout off some silly text lines that relate to the missing content. Just makes the missing content areas more fun to explore, with some light humor and 4th wall breaking.

Yeah but turning them "off" does not really, and it still shows their names and "shadows", and you can only set the option to 1 minimum. why not 0? and why not just HIDE ALL PLAYERS, many times I'm trying to enjoy the story, and have like 50 peeps packed in a room... it gets rather distracting. lol TBH if I don't wanna see everyone, but still can enjoy the chat, that should be an option. not sure why forcing us to see every player is necessary. and why an option to set "player render limit" to 0 is not even an option in the first place. lol why default it to 1 as the lowest.... That's just silly. should be able to select 0/none.
  7. I know this has been covered, many many times. But what if you could only have the option to have them disabled for in game wild encounters and NPC battles. Then have them FORCE enabled for all special encounters, and PvP. that way it wont break multiplayer battles, and Hoard encounters ect. Also it would not be unfair, being everyone could disable them or enable them of their own free will. if they want to enjoy the animations, that's their choice after all!! and everyone would have access to that option.
