    Details~

    It's finally been 10 years since creating my first account on Pokemmo... a month ago. But I was busy so this is my 10 year + 1 month anniversary event and with it I brought back my incredible artistic skills from my time as a staff member hosting events.

    • Some Pokedex descriptions have been taken from in game and run through google translate a bunch of times, so they may sound a little stranger than usual
    • These translated dex entries will be posted at the begninning of each round and your job is to catch the pokemon you think it is and submit it as an entry to earn points
    • All Pokemon will be catchable in the game

     

    Date & Time~
    Date ~     Saturday 22nd October

    Time ~ 3pm EDT || 7pm GMT || 5am AEST (Sun)

     

    Location & Duration~

    Location ~ All regions. Meeting in Vermillion ch4 + Optic Discord

    Duration ~ Approximately 1 hour. 10 rounds (extra rounds available)

     

    Rules~

    • Pokedex entries will be posted on Discord
    • There will be 10 rounds with extra rounds in the case of a tie
    • The first 3 players to submit a correct entry will earn a point for that round
    • Rounds will last for 10min each or until 3 players have successfully caught and submitted entries
    • I will provide hints such as the region the pokemon is from and their type as rounds progress
    • All entries must be the players OT and caught within the time period of the event. Leveling up Pokemon is not allowed
    • You may submit multiple entires each round
    • All members of the Optic Discord are welcome to join

    Why does it seem that botters/macro users aren't banned?

    How come these people can sit here for hours upon hours at a time doing the same actions rhythmically never skipping a beat.

     

    How come when I post something to the GTL at an accidentally low price it sells immediately?

     

    Be a little charitable here.

    1. No, there are people that bot and most of the time they get banned.

    2. Yes, chances are you will be caught and banned resulting in the termination of your character

    3. Some people grind the hell out of this game, some shiny hunting, some item farming, some ev training, some leveling etc

    4. Things will sell very quickly if there are a lot of people playing and looking at the gtl, and I do mean a lot

     

    I can assure you the team in charge of catching botters/rule breakers are doing their best to keep the game fair for everyone, chances are they are probably swamped at times but they are always watching to try and catch rule breakers

    Are the devs still alive?

    Even if it was your brother you are in charge of your account and what happens on it which makes it your fault, the fact that you're banned means this most likely wasn't the first time either.

    Don't be a shithead, don't get banned, simple
