Weapons that don't immunitize you to friendly flinching (such as lances and sword'n'shield) you might as well give up on using on a quest if there is more than one Longsword user on the quest, or you will spend 90% of the quest getting up from being tripped.

I wish they had removed Long Swords fromt he game.

[/quote]Monster Hunter Portable 3rd was released in Japan after Tri on PSP (or Vita, can't recall) and was later ported to PS3.

What I meant is, the Monster Hunter Tri used special codes unique to the character you create in the game as opposed to the Wii's friend code system. I imagine MH3U will use a similar system that is independent of the Wii U's own friend mechanism.

It's inititally region locked, but there will be free DLC released in April that opens the region lock between EU/AU and the US. We should play some time, Cass.

Monster Hunter Tri for the Wii is easily one of the best games I've ever played. It also scored 40/40 in Famitsu. This is sort of an updated port. And by updated, I mean it has like 500% the content Tri had. If you do pick it up, write your friend code or whatever in here so we can hunt online at some point. Although, I'm from the EU and play between EU and US only becomes available as free DLC sometime in April.

Updating game on Wii U now. Got next week off due to easter. Will not see daylight for at least the next three days.
