But why have this half-hearted implementation? Either have all the moves and abilities according to Gen 5, or go with Gen 8... Currently it just feels stuck between both states, where it can neither confirm to Gen 5 nor Gen 8 If implementation of Gen 8 abilities and moves is too meta-shifting due to the absence of fairies or sth, why not just stick to Gen 5 all around?

We've moved on to Gen 8 movesets, but abilities are still stuck in Gen 5?? it isn't a hidden ability (that's an entirely separate debate) so I don't understand the reasoning behind omitting this.

A couple of my friends have had the same issue... I've applied the sprites but not the theme, could that be a factor?
