  1. idk, this is a pretty big opportunity for people to spend cash in Chinese vanity, doubt they would miss it, so I'm assuming they are full throttle trying to finish the update as soon as possible
  2. My man, the og games are waaaaay to easy. The pokemmo story battles are harder but still manageable, if you are still having issues with your fights, try to approach them with new strategies, new items, new pokemon or maybe put some evs on them. A lot of solutions to your problem instead of having the devs " fix" the game for you, nobody else is complaining about story difficulty
  3. Imo the way to middle ground it is to implement the new knock off but remove it from some fighting types learnsets but that's for the devs to decide. Problem with knock off is that it's such a good move that everybody and their mom learns so it's too problematic, so by limiting the amount of pokemon which have access to it you make it less annoying and at the same time use it to indirect buff some less used pokemon. Not unheard off for pokemmo to change moveset a in Pokemon
  4. We literally just got HA, I think that's enough for gamechanging updates to the game. New attacks can be coded but I'm guessing it takes time and effort to do so, maybe Soon™ they will be added slowly in a couple years.

  7. One of the patch notes mentioned that ability pill now lets you chose which ability you want to change to. But pokemons only have 2 abilities...

  9. Isnt adding more luck and lootboxes or any other cripling gambling mechanic to a game (especially in pokemon XD) considered trademark bad design ? Especially if the things being added will directly affect pokemmo existing mechanics such as the economy for items and competitive pvp, certain things intrinsec value will change. Theres already enough luck in the game as it is, I mean the shiny rate is 1/30k, hunting for rare breeds with several 31's, luck based effects in pvp. I feel like this is generic post about newer player saying "I want shiny comp metagross, giff shiny comp metagross ples" since they dont have the patience for the grind.
  10. When you breed does the shiny check happen when you are given the egg or when it hatches? I thought it was when it hatched but I recently found out that the ivs are decided once the egg is received, had eggs in pc and filtered some ivs and some eggs got highlighted, so I was wondering if it works the same way for the shiny check.
  11. Beat up is NOT a contact move, so you dont take rocky helmet, iron barbs, cant get burned by flame body or paralized by static. Every pokemon alive and with no status condition will hit. 6 pokemon alive and well = 6 hits. if 2 of them are say burned or poisoned, it will be only 4 hits. I dont have the exact dmg formula but basically it has to do with your teamates attack, so if you have 6 pokemon with high attack stat then beat up will do more damage. it also works this way in regular pokemon if I recall correctly.
  12. I use scarf cloyster to deal with sub setupers, more reliable than weavile since with weavile you can get 2 or 3 hits with icicle and then mon behind the sub survives and kills you. Cloyster always get 5 hits and that gives enought damage to break the sub and kill mon behind sub even at 80 or more. kills sub garchomp, hydre, gengar, breloom, volcarona if it hasnt set up.
