They've rarely given us ETA's on updates for a reason, they're always late on their own deadline. I'm not surprised nor disappointed at this point, and I'd rather have a functioning update/event than a rushed one, so time to afk for another month.

It really depends what you want to get out of this game. Some people play competitively, shiny hunt, breed, collect vanity items, etc. All of these things will require money so typically this is the stage of gameplay where you'd want to focus on learning the ins & outs of how the economy works, how to farm money efficiently, how to invest your money for future profits, etc. I'd recommend joining a team & meeting new people who are more experienced than yourself, teambuilding for gym rematches, berry farming, GTL flipping, and other basic money makers.

there's no way to set your own level cap but you could buy an Amnesia Brace (gift shop) which works the same as an Exp. Share, but only gives EVs & not experience. Other than that, you'd just have to EV train it using low-level encounters or using vitamins(GTL)

The solution everyone suggests is just increasing the rewards, but I don't think that solves the problem that the majority of the community just doesn't care for the tier. They could double rewards for NU/UU today & OU would still dominate the playerbase, it's just not an appealing tier in it's current state.

I don't know if they'll grow to 30m in 12 months like GDM, but this won't be close to the UFO hat. It's a good looking item that'll be desired by a lot of people, the only risk as an investment is that there appear to be *a lot* being sold. The same thing happened with reaper hoods in 2018 & its price struggled for awhile, so it's really up to you to decide if the risk (high supply) is worth the potential reward (attractive limited-time item) I personally bought 20 of them as a long-term investment so I'm fine if it doesn't reach the same growth GDM had it's first year, but how long you want to hold them is up to you
