Unless something in wow changed in the last year no you can't. Maybe on battle.net but that is the chat engine that connects all of the games, not the game itself.

He wants a "invisible mode" where he can still be online, but will appear offline to his friends. It's something a lot of instant messaging clients employ as well. Basically you can turn on this setting and be online, but appear offline so you can have private chats with a specific friend without someone else disturbing you; or if you are interviewing for a job (yes some employers do interview via Skype and such).

Just use DND if that is your reasoning. Skype is a chat engine, this is a game. I have never seen a game that lets you appear offline.

As a reminder, you will need quite a few super potions to top off your Pokemon's Health after being restatus'ed; if you choose not to, you are putting yourself at a disadvantage!

explain to me in detail how the statusing of our pokemon is gonna work
we have to duel a CM/GM with a smeargle switch out over and over and let them status us and then kill the smeargle?
edit: also if thats the way we're doing it wont everyone just spectate the duel and see what 3 pokemon we're using?
Itll be in round 2 everyone will be able to have seen your team anyways unless you switch out.
