I love the new cap system. Can't sweep through the gyms, actually requires some skill and a little bit of a grind. You'll actually need to catch new, different pokemon and train them up to the cap. Very fun!

Yes you can change the IVs of your pokemon using a hardstone + 30k money at the Pokemon Tower in Lavender Town. You will lose I think either 1-5 or 0-5 IVs on your stats however.

Just caught this

I do keep using a clean, fresh ROM and it still says it. Do I have to get rid of all the other roms in the folder?

Keeps saying the ROM is corrupt when I apply the patch. What am I doing wrong?

I'd like to see a Final Fantasy theme. Either the dark steel color of Cloud's buster blader/ Sephiroth's Masamune, or Final Fantasy 10's blue, bubbly Brotherhood sword type color. I tried looking, but if there's already a FF Theme, please point me in that direction. ALSO, a more pipe dream theme, if someone can make a LA Lakers theme, that would be sweet.

Let people keep their breeders. Allow each pokemon to have up to two or three breeding charges with an increasing chance to be consumed. example: 1st charge(20% chance to be consumed); 2nd charge (40% chance to be consumed); 3rd charge (60% chance to be consumed) Add a NPC to a pokecenter that allows the parent to be 'charged', but say it costs 25k to charge a pokemon. (Would be a very nice goldsink) Include a cooldown between charges if you wish. Once their two or three charges are used and if they have not been consumed, they are no longer able to breed. We all agree that slaughtering of innocent pokemon is wrong. What ever happened to 'Survival of the Fittest'? With this update the Fittest seems to be the ones dying off and the weaker ones get to live. Just a thought.

I like this idea. After their newborn they get neutered.

Would be more fair if breeding only had say a 25% chance to assassinate the parents. Over time it would balance the playing field, but also isn't as tragic as losing the parents every time.

I like this, a lot. Yes it will be much harder to breed comps because of the modern standards. But it will be more fair over time. CatchMMO is working it's way back and it makes catching wild pokemon actually worth it, which I am pretty excited for. But the negative side is that those with godly breeders they payed millions for will all go to waste. No more farming perfect pokemon and sell them on the market and hoard money, but that's the point of this, correct? I have two 4x31 eevees I planned on using to breed so now I can to be very precise and strategic in how I use them to create the exact off-spring I need. Only thing that worries me is new players coming to join and they see how breeding works. I see most of them deciding to quit because it would be too much work and they would see they would lose their pokemon and since they are new they don't want to be giving up many of their pokemon. Overall I think it's a very nice idea. Honestly inflation was scaring me too because sooner or later the game comps will all have been 5x31 or 6x31 and that would be the only standard. I see many people dissing newly hatched pokemon because of their defenses not being 31 IV each. Say I get one that has 26 IV, people consider that a failure with breeding how it was. Personally 26 IV is still very good for comp and something around these IVs will be the new standard and I like that fact. This update will be okay, guys. We just have to get used to it and it'll actually balance the game a lot more than you think and will help the future economy of PokeMMO. Good job, Staff!
