  2. This has nothing to do with PvP. It occurs during all battles and is an inconvenience for every kind of players. But it seems you only commented here to sound tough so I'll give you a woah!!!
  3. No. I don't think it's intended and is probably a bug that never got fixed. Any key that is binded to something will do that thing instead of typing letter. If you play on keyboard you have at least 4 letters that you can't type because you need them to move. Depending on your keyboard inputs, and where you put A/B buttons, it can be more. It's very annoying. I hope it gets fixed.

  7. Little Cup used to be a format officially supported by PokeMMO until end 2020. It is played with pokemons at level 5 that have not yet evolved and are capable of evolution. Ever since it got removed, the PokeMMO community continued to play LC in unofficial tournaments and big events such as the Little Cup Premier League with the third edition this year reaching 1 Billion Pokeyen prize. The purpose of this thread is to spread awareness of this surviving format, which became very fun to play with the addition of new Hidden Abilities, and possesses a stable tiering for a fun and balanced meta. With the occurrence of the LCPL event every year, and the growing interest in this tier by new players, I decided to host Weekly LC Tournaments that are open to everyone. Even if you do not have comps to play LC, you can still participate in the tournament ! I will be lending full teams that were team-builded by the best players of LC. It will occur every Wednesday around 7 PM UTC in Lilycove City Contest Hall channel 1, and you will be able to meet other players to spar and to get advices from. They should be available after that message, maybe there's another cool down if you try to catch like just right after, but the 24h thing seems very unlikely to me and seems based on assumptions and exaggerations (and interpretation of what is RNG) to try to make the story in your favor. While you don't need that, if the same players are organized into deliberately ruining your experience of game, just make a report and it will count as harassment. If it's not the same players, I think it's also fair for some players to deliberately put legendary to the wild so others have a chance to catch it without passing by the pvp phase that can be annoying when a group of players essentially monopolize it.
  10. Can someone fact-check the 24 hours thing ? Seems weird to me. I thought they'd respawn sooner so this kind of story wouldn't be an issue as they just need to catch it again.
  11. I think it would have been noticed way sooner. Maybe it only happens in specific scenarios. Can you provide examples/screens from when it happened ? Sometimes people have Alpha pokemon but it doesn't mean they have the HA. Just putting that here in case you didn't know
  12. With no player cap, my concern is that there is no disadvantage of basically recruiting anyone you want in your team and lose the spirit of World Cup. Changing selection process to mandatory donator factor being first may be enough to ensure a core of players that forge a country team identity.

Another idea who solve much more : If our goal is indeed to have teams that are motivated to qualify while being fair to each and everyone's resources, why not have the amount of mandatory donators be the first factor that determine that a team qualifies or not ? While keeping the donation bid war in case of donator/player amount tie + introducing a minimum amount of donation (to avoid players filling spot with 1$ + to still get money for prize pool). Maximum dono cap would not be necessary anymore since dono will be main factor, and breaking tie with extra money is kinda fair, but introducing it can be fine too for reasons told above. It will make a World Cup where most of the team roster will really be from the country they play for if they want to compete for the spot. Smaller teams will still have their chances, while naturally be at disadvantage if there aren't enough people to represent the country. That way, you won't have players tempted too much to create "super teams" relying on money alone. Example : TEAM A : 7 Dono, 14M TEAM B : 7 Dono, 12M TEAM C : 5 Dono, 13M TEAM D : 5 dono, 5M TEAM E : 3 dono, 8M TEAM F : 3 dono, 5M etc
  15. A few questions Have you found a ruling for countries that haven't participated in previous WC yet ? What will be the team roster capacity ? How many players maximum can fit in a team ? It can be relevant information for big countries if they want to organize before and split or not. Will you implement a maximum amount of how much one player can donate ? If there is a cap like 4M, it would give more opportunities for poorer but motivated teams to compete with others during bidding, while forcing bigger and richer teams to have more mandatory donators to get in (which is a good thing = more players from actual country). It also limits the "exploit" of giving money to mandatory donator player if the amount is capped. Having a maximum amount of players per team (for example 12) and a maximum amount mandatory can donate (for example 4M) forces teams to have more than 3 mandatory donators to compete in bidding, giving more meaning to the formation of teams. The cap has to be high enough to give chance for smaller teams to compete by filling max amount with few players (showing motivation), and low enough to avoid the 1 rich player securing a place without any consequences to the team formation (the rich player will need to "force" players in the team by making them donator = accepted in team). I gave 4M as example but Idk what could be best. What you think about all that ?

  19. Hello, I am making this post here since it doesn't get any attention elsewhere. There has been many errors reported concerning impossible damage rolls that would indicate that this game is bugged when it comes to calculating damage. On this topic (and in bug report), I reported 3 different "impossible" damage rolls (first one since January). There was no answer from staff about it. Obviously, this is very problematic, because it affects every PvP game, and probably way more than what we came to witness. I just took 20 minutes of my time checking random moves calcs, and found yet another 2 errors. 212+ Atk Barboach Waterfall vs. 0 HP / 36 Def Eviolite Onix: 16-24 (80 - 120%) -- 6.3% chance to OHKO Possible damage amounts: (16, 16, 16, 16, 16, 16, 16, 16, 16, 16, 16, 16, 16, 16, 16, 24) 76 Atk Mienfoo Drain Punch vs. 0 HP / 36 Def Eviolite Onix: 8-12 (40 - 60%) -- 12.1% chance to 2HKO Possible damage amounts: (8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 12) There are probably way more errors that I didn't came to witness because I didn't come across the wrong roll. All of them have been found at level 5 fighting, which is standard for Little Cup, a format played by community. It is very problematic that we have so many errors that may affect our games. @Rache @Kyu @Desu Are you aware of these bugs ? Have you even looked into it and took in consideration ? If report bug tickets didn't work the way it's intended to, what should we do as a community towards this ? Can we have more answers and transparency ?
