Who are those developers? If you refer to me and Damian, we are not developers and never were, even when we were GameMasters. We never had any roles in development as that is for the development team (Desu, Shu, Kyu, Rache and Vukooo). Also, if you aren't enjoying the game, nobody is forcing you stay. If you stay I do however wish you best of luck with your hunting. 🙂

Oh no worries, my friend, I didn't feel attacked. I don't mind the current method (even though I missed both Articuno and Entei, rip), but I honestly wouldn't complain if it was made more fun to hunt the legendaries, sure.

My intention was never for people to hunt shinies to increase their chances to catch a legendary - that would be stupid considering the difference in odds. It was just a thought, mainly to for example get rid of all the Rapidash/Tentacruel and alike from GTL, or the many complains about the Event Rewards stacking up in PC. The idea came in 2 minutes - just thought I wanted to share it here for people to discuss, so thank you for your input.

F. Petition to turn in 2-3 shinies/random PvP mon rewards (Event Reward OT) to some random new npc to exceedingly increasing your chances to encounter legendaries in the wild during the month.

As I understood it, you just need the 8 Kanto badges to find Articuno. It doesn't matter when you did it (prior/after the event). Good luck. 🙂

Dude, please don't even consider using 20 hours a day to hunt a snowflake chicken nugget. We all have obligations and it's really different how much time we have individually, but just because we have limited time it doesn't necessarily mean that the legendary nugget should be somewhat easy to find. Be patient and hunt with the time you have. If you don't get it this time, try again when it returns. Good luck. 🙂

Great explanations above. Sometimes I just tell people to imagine a dice with 30,000 sides/options instead of the usual 6-side dice. Each time you get a Pokémon encounter, you roll the 30,000-sided dice and hope to land on the "shiny" number. Your chances do not increase hitting this number no matter how many times you try. But the chances of getting the "shiny" number in 30,000 attempts is pretty decent. Keep hunting and you will get it eventually. Best of luck. 🙂

Does it really matter if people can see if we edit our posts? It's completely okay to make mistakes and editing your post afterwards. You shouldn't really care if you don't get it grammatically correct on first try.
