  7. I personally use Salamence - Garchomp - Gengar - Starmie - Typhlosion - 6th is usually a Pokémon that I'm leveling up. I easily farm all the gyms with Typhlosion Scarf Eruption + Gengar, though there are some matchups I can't do that. For example vs Rock Gym I go Garchomp - Salamence, vs Water I go Starmie - Gengar/Salamence and vs Fire I also go with Garchomp - Salamence. I only really struggle vs Water Type Gym, specially Misty, because she has a lot of Swift Swimmers that hit hard like Kingdra Ludicolo & Floatzel, so the 6th slot could be something that makes the water matchup better. Other recommendations would be Flygon (Levitate AKA you don't hit yourself with Earthquake, learns Rock Slide - Earthquake), Aerodactyl (same reasons but different typing), and in general Pokémon that can hit hard, specially if they have AoE moves (Heracross - Typhlosion - Combos like Surf + Storm Drain/Dry Skin or Discharge + Ground/Electric immunity ability etc). Dragonite might be a really great addition as well because of it's insane bulk, access to good AoE moves, and having Inner Focus which makes it immune to Intimidate (Trust me, Gym Leaders bring Intimidate Pokémon A LOT). The only "downside" to it it's that he's actually pretty slow so a lot of Pokémon might hit you before you do. Against Elite Four I'm pretty much unexperienced, but I've seen a lot of people bring Swords Dance Shedinja because of the ability. Since NPC's won't switch out even if they can't touch you, you can easily setup and OHKO everything after 3 Swords Dance.
  8. IGN: AkaruKokuyo Reason: To prove everyone my favorite mons like Pikachu can be at top level. Looking to have fun! Preferred tiers: All of them Competitive accolades: I've managed to break the 600s barrier in OU after approx 748 games. Top 50 in dubs ladder as well ig but dubs ladder is ass wtf Discord contact: Akaru#5742
  9. You literally just got the reason why there is no LC matchmaking and still say "and what" lol. Can't really say much. Metronome is probably better than all the tiers on MMO right now and there is no ladder of it. That argument isn't valid
  10. I'm AkaruKokuyo (Not AkuraKuyo ;__;) and smbee is @SMB . Don't really know the rest. I won't be able to participate if it's that day, F, but good luck to all players!
  11. This is a great guide, but I just didn't seem to fully understand a seed related problem: Sooo, let's say I want to farm Leppa Berries. I need Plain Sweet +Very Spicy + Plain Bitter . So my plan was farming Aguav Berries (Which, to be done, require 2 Very Bitter seeds), Mago Berries (Which, to be done, require 2 Very Sweet seeds) and Cheri Berries (Which, to be done, require 3 Spicy seeds). But by harvesting any kind of berry, I only get Plain seeds. How do I get the Very Sweet ones? I read that Very seeds requires sometimes like a lot of Plain Berries, but for example, Mago requires 2 Very Sweets, but If I plant 3 Plain Sweet Seeds, I get Pecha Berries instead of Mago. Question being: How to get Very seeds??? Can you combine them or something? I can't seem to find the answer. Either that or I'm very rtarded
  12. Well, I don't really have experiencie with the MMO metagame, but on BW Doubles OU it's usually Trick Room - Recover - Scald - WoW (Though there were some niche moves instead of WoW like Taunt or Toxic to check opposing Jellicents. Even Water Spout with Water Gem was used at some point to nuke or just do a lot of damage). I guess you could run Ice Beam here as well looking at all the predominant Dragons, though If you want something for that I think Milotic is better. I guess Jelli is a Milotic but a bit worse with Trick Room and Water Absorb
  13. Very nice draw man!! I'm guessing you have a Shiny Slugma on MMO xD?
  14. Phewww, really excited to see all of this! When I started playing MMO I was kind of dissapointed there was no Dubs Community or at least not one that you could easily see. Once I get some of those comp Mons I hope to be able to play with all you guys! Also why Is Jelli not included there? Checks most of the physical mons, decent TR setter, rain check, recovery, I think it deserves a spot ): (Unless I'm missing something on it)
Disfruten! KANTO Dinero Obtenido: $95,233 ($142,849 con Moneda Amuleto) Batallas: 19 [12 Entrenadores, 7 Líderes de Gimnasio) Tiempo Aprox. : 45-60 minutos Guía: HOENN Dinero Obtenido: $101,812 ($152,718 con Moneda Amuleto) Batallas: 19 (11 Entrenadores, 8 Gimnasios) Tiempo Estimado: 45-60 Minutos Guías: TESELIA Dinero Obtenido: $131,681 ($197,521 con Moneda Amuleto) Batallas: 19 (9 entrenadores, 10 Líderes de Gimnasio) Tiempo Estimado: 60-75 minutos Guías:
  16. Loved this guide since the first time I read it. Keep going back to it since I forget about the trainer locations lol. Just uhh some quick adjusts to the leaders (since, as you said, it is a biit outdated) After a couple of runs, I realized that all leaders give the same ammount of money depending on their number (All 1st gym leaders like Brock, Roxanne and Roark give the same ammount of $ . Only the three brothers of Unova are out of this rule and give less individually, but adding all three end up giving more than if it was only 1 leader). Misty - Brawly - Lenora - Gardenia give the same ammount, and so on. Here is a list of what they give with & without the Amulet Coin (AC) Note: Unova Brothers are out of this rule. Individually, they give $6,972 with no AC, and $10,458 with AC I've made a custom Gym Route only to extend the effect of Amulet Coin as much as possible (Which tbh is like extra 10k-20k lmfao) and been able to earn exactly $237,132 in one hour. If people would like to see it I can make a thread only for this specific route, but If you want to hard grind for money I'd recommend going for the 32 gyms + trainer routes listed on this guide!
  17. Bro you're literally complaining that Garchomp can't 1HKO PHYSICAL WALLS that are meant to WALL at +2 LOL
  18. That's what he means, he wants to buff Outrage and make Hydreigon learn Draco Meteor Personally, I don't think buffing any of them is good for the meta. I've only been playing OU for a week now and got to 630, being able to face against a lot of team archetypes. Tbh Draco Hydra it's just a nuke to any pokemon not named Chansey or Blissey. Even Ferro takes > 50%, you know something's wrong when a not super effective move does more than half to Ferro , and being able to just randomly nuke whatever you feel like doesn't look good, specially when the only drawback you have is getting your SpA at -2 (really not a drawback when each time you trade that for an opposing Mon). I do think that if you run it specs it gets outsped by a lot of good Mons that can easily OHKO it (Salamence, Garchomp, Mienshao, Scarf Tar tho who tf uses scarf tar lol), but it's very easy to get rid of those Mons with the rest of the team and very easy to get momentum for Hydreigon with a VoltTurn archetype. It's just way too free to set him up to get a kill. Outrage is also something that might make Dragons just spammed af. On BW OU, there is an archetype called DragMag, not sure if it exists here, where you put a Magnezone to get rid of the switches like Ferrothorn, Skarmory, Jirachi (doesn't exist here) and just spam 2-3 dragons, click Draco/Outrage and kill everything. It's balanced on Smogon because stuff like Landorus exist, but I don't think we really have a way to balance it here other than going DragMag vs DragMag or force a Shed Shell on everything just so you don't get trapped (which at the end isn't even that amazing since you still take >50% from banded Outrages/Draco) + force the use of multiple scarfs. Just saying what I think might happen. Again, I'm no expert on PokeMMO meta, I might be wrong, personal opinion here. Though I do think there is no way that they will buff the moves, discussion regarding it might be fun to have.
  19. Hey! Really glad that I just found this! I'm a DOU player in Smogon and usually like to try new doubles metagames, so really excited with where this is going! Just need to grind money to breed those mons ):
  20. Hey there! I've been reading a loooot of threads on these forums looking to feed my hunger for knowing a lot of the server. But there are still some stuff that I wasn't able to read on my own and been asking around without having answers ): . I hope someone here can answer these! (Sorry If it has been answered already, there are so many threads and ofc I haven't read them all ;__; ) 1) What Competitive mechanics have changed for the server? I've seen Defog removing your own hazards (Which was implemented until gen 6) and burn dealing only 6% of the health (Which was implemented on gen 7). Also, Volt Switch & UTurn work? In game at least when used by enemies they wouldn't change .c. 2) Is Shiny breeding a thing? Is there a way to 100% get a shiny IF you breed two shinies or something like that? 3) Can anyone describe what's the best way of farming Leppa Berries? I read the entire Berry Farming guide but it only made me even more confused ): . Is there like, a specific set of berries that are good to plant so you get seeds for Leppas? 4) Are Egg Moves teachable in any of the "special" tutor guys? For example I've seen Ferrothorn being able to learn Stealth Rock from tutor, but yknow that's an Egg Move. (Btw if this is not the section to publish this I'll gladly move it to where it is >_<)
  21. Hello there! My name is Akaruyo, or Akaru Kokuyo, you might find me with any of those names! I saw this introduction section and thought It'd a good idea to do one! I'm new to this PokeMMO thing. A friend of mine invited me like 4 years ago but I didn't want to play it for some reason, oh boy how I regret that lmao. I'm a competitive Pokémon player, participating in Smogon tournaments and VGC circuit for about 4 consecutive years, even going to 2016 Worlds and qualifying for Day 2! (Only 1 win away from the actual last elimination thing ))): ), and I'm really looking forward to start grinding for the competitive Pokémon here and start playing in the tournaments hehe. This being said, I have some questions that I tried searching on other threads on the forums, but are either way too old (and not true, because I tried them) or just straight didn't find them. Hopefully anyone can help me! 1) What are the cooldowns on trainers for rematches? I've read everywhere that normal trainers have a 6 hour cooldown, and gym leaders and the game freak guy at castelia have 18 hours cooldown. Is that true? If so, then that'd mean that a whole in game day, or three days, right? I tried rematching a random Ace Trainer after 7 hours approx. and I wasn't able to battle him ): 2) Is there anywhere I can see the levels of the rematches? I went with a lvl 80 Gengar alone vs Morimoto and barely won vs him, then rematched him and he had 10 extra levels on his Pokémon!! It wasn't fun ))): . Same for the Elite Four guys and yeah, Gym Leaders (I've read Gym Leaders have lvl 80s lmao) 3) Where do I see Battle Points, and what can I do with them besides entering Tournaments? When I cleared Unova's E4 I got a message that said I got like 3000 or something, but I don't know what to do with them lol. Right now, I've only cleared Unova, and I'm on my way in Kanto and after that I'll go to Hoenn, will I use them somehow in any of these regions? 4) The Donator Status thing says it reduces the time for eggs to hatch and an extra 10% of getting shinies. Why time on eggs? Wasn't it by steps? Or was this changed? And the shiny ratio, is it an extra 10% on the current ratio or like, literally 10%?? (I know this would be broken but I mean you pay for it so it's possible to be that absurd, which again I don't think so, but yeah, better ask xD) I hope I can stay a long time here since I really liked the game and stuff and If I can be of any help to anyone, even If I'm very limited atm, don't hesitate to ask!
