  1. Can you make the sprites actually sit flush with the floor? I remember playing some older/different versions of the mod and the sprites facing me were always standing on the floor and the ones facing away were flush with the bottom of the battle window so it felt clean (although i understand that the sprites won't be flush against the bottom of the game window when the camera starts to rotate during and idle it still looks nicer most of the time since most people don't just site idle during a battle) it feels kind of weird to just have them float there in mid air... I'll make another post showing what i mean when i can find/make some examples, but hopefully i don't need those to have you understand. Cool mod btw
  2. Sorry, but I never said anything about them providing the full client, I only intended the shell to be set as a web client, you’d still need to provide the roms yourself. I just thought Rize thought I meant otherwise
  3. I’ve done a small bit of research, and due to the game running Java, and iOS supporting OpenGL, I think this would be possible to develop a web client for the game. Again though, I didn’t do too much research, and I’m no code genious, heck, I don’t even dabble in code, but I really think it’s possible. I’m not home rn, but I might try to make it into a web app myself. I want to see it happen. I get home Saturday, but I’ll start researching web apps, Java, and code if I can while I’m away… wish me luck =D
  4. Dude, what you don’t seem to understand, is that PokéMMO itself, is not the game, but a code that uses the content of the Pokémon roms. There would be no risk of property theft because they haven’t stolen anything XD. If they would get in trouble for making a web client for the code, then they would have gotten in trouble for making and distributing the code itself in the first place. Putting it on a web app breaks zero laws lmao. It’s literally the same thing they’re doing, minus the downloading process of the shell client. Why would there be different legal issues? And I’m not saying they should skip the part where you supply the roms, because you can still do that through a web clients. Legality issues should remain the same. ( I mean, honestly, I’m not a lawman, so if anyone knows better than me or this dude, please speak up) And as to why they haven’t done it yet, maybe they hadn’t thought of it. Also, browsers have a limited amount of recourses they’re allowed to use from the computers they’re on, and when PokéMMO first came out, maybe it wasn’t a viable option because of hardware limitations. Then again, you might be right, but I’m not going to accept the reply of some dude who was probably salty about what I said on another post, and clicked on my account, and decided to try crapping on my non related posts.
  5. Pancakes and waffles, same thing, different feeling, different style, and both have great things, it's just some people prefer one over the other ?
  6. If you aren't positive about all the great work the devs put into this game, then why are you still playing the game those devs are probably still fine-tuning to be able to take the changes you want? They want the game to succeeded, that's why there's a lot of missing content. They don't want to add something that breaks the game and looses more people on the long run. There's better things to add right ow that don't risk breaking too much of the current dynamic they have going. Quit hating on the people that made this a possibility in the first place!
  7. Dude, not the same thing lmao, just like how showdown obviously isn't the same thing as pokemmo, handhelds aren't the same thing and hanging out with friends on pokemmo. Quit being salty because other people wanting things may or may not delay what you want m8. Chill, either way, whatever happens, it's not the end of the world because one thing or another happens to pokemmo, it's just a game.
  8. Also, I think it's fairly possible yo provide “the shell” instead of the full client through the web as well... I honestly have no clue what you're trying to say XD
  9. Bro, I'm not 5 xd I know that iOS and android run different types of applications. I was referencing kindle as a low budget weak device, I wasn't saying if it can run on kindle it can run on iOS. I was saying, if things like Eclipse GBA emulator, and the DS emulator are possible on a web browser, then there is a possibility that you could run the client off of iOS without the need of jailbreak. You would need a fairly powerful iPhone though, X and up probably...
  10. Turning Poke MMO into web app would open the door to iOS, and make it more accessible to the public. I know it's possible because PokeMMO can run on kindle fire, but a kindle fire can't run ds games, and I currently run a web app nds emulator for iOS that blew me out of the water. Lmk if this seems like a viable option ?
  11. The fact that you can share the experience with your friends. If you're into the competitive side, go play showdown or something. What's the big difference? Less storyline if you pvp there.
  12. That's not why people play pomemmo XD it's to share the things they love with more people, not for more content.
  13. How would you get volt tackle? I really want volt tackle right now. Nice guide btw
