    Hello guys! Recently I've decided to take on this challenge as I felt bored with Competitive Battles. And so I decided to since I'm not a streamer or a anything like it to register my experience here. Bellow, here's what I've done so far. I'll be sure to keep you updated!

    My first Nuzlocke - An Hardcore Kanto Experience

    Choose Charmander as my starting Pókemon as I never had a Charizard before... yhea I know, I usually avoid mainstreams. Named him FakieDrakie.

    Got a scare on my fight with Gary since his Squirtle got a critical tackle in but managed to survive with just 5hp.

    Passed route 1 just fine only with 2 encounters. FakieDrakie did great and I reached Viridian with him more than half hp.

    Toke the parcel from the Pokemarket and went back into Pallet Town. I hate this part of FireRed as it's always the same slow paced trip.
    Anyways, parcel delivered and got the 5 Pokeballs as reward.

    Went back into Veridian and got myself a lvl.4 Bold Natured Pidgey with Keen Eye on the way back on Route 1... really back luck since Pidgey is a physical attacker but life has to go on.
    Named him Sadrone because obviously birds aren't real and Pidgey is a another Surveillance and Recognition Drone. That's why he has a defensive nature: he's made of steel.
    Bought a classic cap in Viridian's PokeMarket just for the sake of aesthetics.

    After getting my new drip I decided that it was time to move on and went for route 2 where I proceded to grind my pidgey a little bit. I know I'm going to struggle in the first gym since both Charmander and Pidgey can't deal with rock types very well.
    Despite wild pidgeys keep using sand attack on my keen eye Sadrone I still lost a bunch of hp and had to return to Pokecenter.
    Also defeating pidgeys grants me speed ev's which will be crucial to succeed in this run.
    Time to go into Viridian forest where I plan to catch a new mon, which was a lvl4 Careful natured Oddish with 0 Special Attack IV's... yhea... i'm really struggling here... this will be hard to get over with.
    Named him Weedboy.

    Then I ran into a wild pikachu that kept growling and charming me to the point I couldn't damage him... Annoying rat. This fight made me go back to heal at the Center cuz Sadrone can't deal with those Thunderbolts and FakieDrakie is now paralyzed.
    Depite my Weedboy still being ridiculously weak I have to grind him a bit since he's my only mon who can deal with rock types.
    After going back to Viridian Forest I realized that my Charmander is already level 9 which worries me because if I'm not carefull I'll pass the lvl 12 cap and still have some trainer battles to do before the gym.
    Looks like this Bug catchers are toughter than they look and by that I mean that their such an easy farm that my Charmander is almost lvl 12. Made me run back into the Center. My Odish is severly underlevel (4) and Sadrone aswell.
    This time I decided to head left and catch something at rt.22 which was harder than it tought. I found a Mankey that almost fainted my Odish but I managed to switch to Pidgey leaving Odish at 3 HP.

    This rt was pretty much battle followed by pokecenter before I finally find and catch a lvl.3 male Nidoran. In that battle Sadrone leveled up and learnt Gust!
    I decided to call my Nidoran "Discord". Hey!... at least the colors combine.

    Put Power Whip on Gyarados instead of eq and it will sweep a lot easier. You have magnezone to get rid of walls that gyarados struggles with. Put leftovers on ferro, it doesnt need rocky helmet and it needs recovery. Get rid of sludge bomb on gengar, it doesnt do anything. Use substitute or protect in stead.

    You can probably use a physical wall like max defense reuniclus and another sweeper that benefits from the removal of skarm/ferrothorn. Like SD Scizor or Scarf ttar.

    Thanks for the tips! I was thinking about getting a Reuniclus and now I'm 100% gonna do it. It's one of my favorite pokemons aswell

    I'll also replace the rocky helmet as you said. Since It's now too late to Leeche Seed him that's an amazing way to get him recovery. I Have no idea how i haven't thought about that. Thanks <3

    But about the other suggestions ,I'm curious of why removing sludge bomb? It's such a Nuke and has STAB on top of it.

    I'm also curious about the PW instead of EQ, since EQ has been usefull overall.

    Thanks <3

  3. Hi everyone

    I Know that topics like this are everywhere but I didn't want to spam the chats in-game so here we are;

    The Problem:

    I have a team of 4 5x31 mons ,(I'll post it bellow), which means that I'm missing two to "close" the team.

    I have no idea if I should add a support such as Chansey or another Wall such as Cofagrigus.

    My team:

    Gyarados @ Leftovers  ( boost sweeper)
    Ability: Intimidate
    EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
    Adamant Nature
    - Waterfall
    - Dragon Dance
    - Earthquake
    - Ice Fang

    -------------

    Gengar @ Life Orb  (wallbreak)
    Ability: Cursed Body
    EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
    Timid Nature
    - Sludge Bomb
    - Shadow Ball
    - Focus Blast
    - Taunt

    -------------

    Ferrothorn @ Rocky Helmet  ( setup lead)
    Ability: Iron Barbs
    EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
    Careful Nature
    - Power Whip
    - Protect
    - Toxic
    - Stealth Rock

    -------------

    Magnezone @ Choice Scarf  ( purely a counter )
    Ability: Magnet Pull
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
    Modest Nature
    - Thunderbolt
    - Flash Cannon
    - Hidden Power [Fire]

    -------------

    The Strat:

    As I'm relatively new to competitive play in PokeMMO I don't really have an "ultimate strat";

    What I usually do is try to switch my Gyarados into a wall such as Ferrothorn and Dragon Dance 'till I'm able to sweep their team;

    My Magnezone is used to counter Scizor and Gengar to counter Mienshao and Conkeldurr;

    Ferrothorn is my lead when I know my opponent can't counter it

    I'd love some suggestions for my last two 'mons and how to improve my strat.

    Thanks in Advance
