It is a little rare the appearance of the amulet in a Persian because when evolving a Meowth can that the evolution (Persian) leaves you the Amulet. You can capture them or simply with a pokemon with frisk skill and thief move to get them. Proabilities are low but I usually do it on Kin Island. :D
