Shitty community, they employ people to steal viral posts/memes from other sites and turn them into memes for their own, takes them a while to catch up on jokes that stopped being funny ages ago, etc.
They have a user base of millions, but they need to use bots to boost content to the frontpage because the content their user base posts is so cancerously bad.

I already mentioned about the females on 9gag. Now let's move onto the males:
-Constantly hitting on every pretty female they see with a sexual remark of some sort.
-Constantly posting pictures of females but then feeling upset when a picture of a 'hot guy' is posted by some woman.
And Jesus... I don't even want to talk about 9gag.tv. They oughta rename it to 9porn.tv lol.

You should know by now that I will never truly die. After all, I did earn the title of 'Drama Queen' back then for constantly leaving the game and coming back again. Not to mention that I was the guy who started that whole fad in the first place lol.

But having said that, I don't think your a douchebag. I don't even know your pain, or what you have to deal with everyday in your life. Anyone here can throw insults at me but I can't really think ill of you, unless you cross the boundary to my personal life and wanna mess that up.But then, shouldn't everyone feel the need to at least protect themselves over the internet?

Unfortunately, it's not easy to do so as all that pent up anger needs to go somewhere. You'd need special training of some sort to be able restrain it all on your own. I too completely agree with her. Might I know where it's from? Is it from some kind of cartoon or is it just a random image you came across on the internet? It gives off the same vibe I got from the movie called Mulan (which I still love up to this day).

Jesus. To think that an introduction thread could even get this many comments. I am quite sure the arguments at the beginning acted as some sort of a catalyst. Anyway, good to see that you two are faring well so far.
I just came to clear something up. I actually meant to say this to Josie a month or so ago but couldn't since I went inactive for some time. It's quite long so I put it inside a spoiler (it really is a big spoiler though).

Remember that argument I brought up about the offensive comment? To be honest, I was the same as the other guys- the title of this thread combined with your forum name seriously made me cringe at the time. I was browsing 9gag before I saw this thread and had seen enough of the stuff that girls did to get 'attention' (specifically mentioning that you're a girl on the title of the thread, 'pretty girls' posting "if only I had a boyfriend..." comments etc). I was quick to categorise you with them.
Before I made that argument I was carefully browsing through this thread for some kind of 'weakness' you showed as I clearly saw how you shot down the other guys. I then finally spotted it in the form of that comment you made. I was fully aware that you never intended to direct it at Killi. That much was completely obvious given how you had kindly greeted him. I expected you to feel utterly helpless so I NEVER expected a rebuttal of the sort you gave. My rebuttal (about Japan) in response to yours was utter bullshit. While it's true that I was obsessed with Japan at one time, no mean comments or anything like that led to the outcome I described. As the years passed, I simply lost interest in Japan. Nothing more, nothing less. With my rude comment, however, I did certainly intend to give out the message that you should be more careful about the posts you make as someone out there could most certainly get offended.
Well... with all that said, you sure proved to me that you can handle any rude comments people might throw at you. Keep that "nasty tongue" of yours. You'll need it to deal with people like me who randomly throw a tantrum here on the internet.
The morals of this whole story? I am a douchebag and 9gag has really turned into a cancer (because of both the men and women) so stay clear of it as much as possible.

Yeah, seems like he's been inactive since 2013.
I never talked with him much but I can still clearly remember him for one reason- he really aggravated me at the time when he issued me the warning point while sporting a profile picture of Hitle*.
Edit: Can't seem to type out the whole name. Keeps substituting it for 'Dracula' lol.

And yes! I totally agree with you there. I think it's because we lived the classic era and we relate to that. As technology progresses within gaming, content and quality gave way to quantity and things / aspects of gaming that we used to love, grew shallow. I'm gonna come clean here, because I have a really strong hate for Tidus, the main character in FF X. The thought of a ( "Japanese", " Blonde" , " Farmer-Boy " . Yes , let that sink in abit, folks ) coupled with the fact that he looked like he had a freak sun tan-accident, gave me a gut-feeling, till this very day, that SquareSoft wanted to paint a more emotional and feminine-friendly , strong hero archetype, but ended up, murdering the hero's masculinity six-feet under. Some male fans took offense to the concept of Tidus and I can't blame them ( Because he really does look a wee bit like a Tranny :S )
Cardcaptor Sakura was definately my first anime as a kid <3
Rurouni Kenshin came after, and I instantly loved how real , bloody, politically sadistic and psychological it portrayed the warring era of Japan. It still has ( to me ) the richest blend of culture and reality portrayal in an animation to date.How cruel. Tidus would have been in tears right now had he been a real person reading your post.
While I agree with you on Tidus looking a 'bit off' in comparison to other FF characters like Squall or Cloud, there is no doubt that he is one of the best FF characters thus far. You might have hated him but have you actually played through FFX fully? His development as a character as the story progressed was truly phenomenal. Everything about FFX was to be loved. In all my life I have never come across any males hating on Tidus. Heck, if anything, it's the sequel to FFX (known as FFX-2) that got male fans fuming. Yuna's clothing style and character were just beyond understanding. Ah... Just thinking about it still makes me mad.
Cardcaptor Sakura was a great anime but I do have to admit that it was a bit too 'girly' for me to handle. Had it not been for the character known as Syaoran, I doubt I'd have had the 'manpower' to actually finish the series completely. He was the most fascinating character for me and I loved observing how he kept gathering courage throughout the series until the moment he finally manifested all that and confessed his true feelings.
Rurouni Kenshin was a great anime too. The best battle in the series for me was the one in which Kenshin fought against Shishio.

Yeah I don't have time to play! I don't know what I'd do at this point. I check the forums in spurts. Sometimes I am not here for a month, sometimes it's everyday for a week. Mostly I just come here to spam King's wall.
I can understand that. As time progresses things from real life can start to accumulate. When that happens you don't have any choice but to attend to them. I dunno who King is but yeah you've spamming his (or her?) wall quite a bit. Those are quite the furious exchanges haha.
By the way, loved the "about me" section in your profile lol. You weren't as explicit back then (perhaps because of your role as moderator?) so it's great to see this kind of side to you ;p

I don't suppose you have any particular anime or game that you fancy? Considering your avatar, I think its safe to say that I'm quite the Final Fantasy Girl myself xD I still fancy anything pre- FF X imo, especially the timeless SNES versions.We certainly did get off on the wrong foot because of a hasty assumption I had made. We are much more similar than you think.
I also love any FF game which came before FFX. Games beyond FFX contain highly advanced graphics which I don't find appealing for some reason. I just prefer the old school graphics.
Even our tastes in anime are similar. I too love Cardcaptor Sakura (first anime I had seen; was around 5 years old at the time), One Piece, Gintama and Rurouni Kenshin.

I apologise in advance for ruining your introduction thread to a great extent. I am fully aware that I was really hotheaded at the time.
As for all the other insults that were thrown at you- some of your replies in response to those insults seem to have the tendency to only further aggravate people. They could use a little fixing in my opinion. The choice is completely up to you but if you were to be a bit more subtle with your wording, arguments of those sorts will quickly come to an end.
With all that said, please enjoy your time here on this forum. I apologise once again for the mayhem I caused.

I completely agree. It's without a doubt the best one out there right now.
Adventure Time and Regular Show are also pretty good though in my opinion.

Back then I was very susceptible to comments like the one you had made earlier. Comments like that from both real life and the internet left me feeling very embarrassed of myself and eventually shattered my dreams of wanting to to go and live in Japan.
I don't want him to reach such a stage and feel that way someday too. I was simply trying to protect him and nothing more. You already apologized so I am not going to pursue you any further.

Yes I really loved anime back then. Believe me, I was a real addict and even had this crazy obsession of going to Japan and living there someday. I started going to Japanese classes too in order to accomplish that goal.
However, somewhere down the line something started to change. It probably happened when I came to the realization that Japan wasn't the 'fantasy world' I imagined it to be. Slowly, my obsession with Japan came to an end. When that happened I even lost all interest in learning Japanese. I became extremely critical of anime too.
I still wish to visit Japan someday though (especially an island called Okinawa).
At the time this change happened I had clocked in around 145 different series of anime and manga altogether (this list included some of the longest series up to date).
I still read a few manga but only those with very unique storylines. This is pretty much all I am reading right now: One Piece, Gintama, Shokugeki no Soma, Btooom!, Vagabond and Nobunaga no Chef.
As for Anime: One Piece, Gintama and Pokemon XY & Z.
I am also watching Gravity Falls (which is not an anime). I plan on starting to watch South Park too.
Also, when you said "Sakura" were you referring to "GinSakura"?

I liked jeehad but the reason he got banned was legit lmao
I had assumed his ban was unjust since many players back in 2013 were banned for really stupid reasons when moderators started abusing their authority.
Well, everyone makes mistakes at some point and it still doesn't change the fact that he was a really great guy. I'd love to know the reason behind his ban but I won't be enquiring any further on this thread for his sake.

I might be very late in asking this but... What happened to Fany? Why was such a great guy banned just like that? Not to mention that he was also the leader of a highly established team like this.
