  1. Congratulations @Shadowand Stark Tyrants, you had a great and quite unexpected performance and you have proven that you were the better team. @Mkns1070@DrakeHope@smadagos je suis très content pour vous, gg les gars vous méritez amplement; Also ForFour has been an absolute beast, it was very impressive to see (shoutout to Elvesss too, amazing record) Thanks to all my teammates who did put a lot of work in this event and were very motivated to win. Special thanks to @ArtOfKilling who has been a great captain and proved to be an amazing player aswell by hard carrying us. And he is such a nice guy... You better get this guy in your team for future events. And thanks to everyone who participated in hosting, it has been a very enjoyable experience for me. See you in another PSL edition

  5. I pretty much agree with most of what Wrath said. I'm fine giving Shaymin a shot in UU. I like his Alakazam example, lots of people thought Zam would be NUBL worthy yet it turned out Zam is a low usage/very low winrate mon in this tier. Why not test Shaymin if all we have are speculations ? Let's see it on the field. Right now, the top 3 usage Pokemons in UU are 3 potential Shaymin checks; people could also adapt (use more Calm Rotom-H for example so you can check it more comfortably). I would also like to see the UU meta evolve since I believe the tier is tainted by Crawdaunt's centralization, and surely Shaymin will help with that. Yes, Shaymin is a big threat for sure, however seed flare is not always free to click. You usually don't want to seed flare in a Crobat or a Durant switch for instance. A bulky Shaymin set should be pretty easy to play around, and we could also have new sets being explored to check an offensive Shaymin (Assault vest Nidoqueen? Assault vest Druddigon? Assault vest Snorlax? Heatproof Bronzong if Shaymin rarely uses earth power?!) If it ends up being UUBL worthy, so be it. It would be a shame not to test it.

  9. In April 2022, Electrode was quick-banned to NUBL for the following reasons : Quick-banned to NUBL from NU; Electrode: Banned for Uber Support characteristics. This has been discussed in the April 2022-Movement Discussion Thread : With its amazing 150 base speed, Electrode can Taunt anything and is pretty much guaranteed to succeed in setting up Reflect or Light Screen to allow friendly sweepers to set up. Sweepers were then easily able to set up, and due to the offensive nature of the NU Tier, it was assessed that the defensive tools would be powerless against screens. The Tier Council is now reconsidering this decision as there were considerable changes in the NU Tier since then, most notably with the addition of Hidden Abilities. At the time of the ban, the most frightening sweepers were mainly Feraligatr, Gallade and Drapion (these were mentionned in the thread). Feraligatr has been moved to UU since then, and we now have new tools to deal with these threats, such as Unaware Quagsire, Prankster Sableye, Intimidate Qwilfish and Unaware Clefable for special threats. Furthermore, Azumarill is dropping this month and would for sure benefit from the screens, but it could be handled by most of those I just mentioned (Note that Qwilfish could use Haze and naturally outspeeds Adamant Azumarill, Mantine could use Haze with 100 EVs in speed to outspeed Adamant Azumarill, or the use of Pokemons such as Ferroseed could be explored). Moreover, Electrode has a very limited movepool and is usually guaranteed to use 3 moves : Taunt, Light Screen and Reflect, the biggest question mark being whether the last move is Teleport/Volt Switch/Explosion. This makes Electrode very predictable. There are also plenty of ways to pressure Electrode : the ideal one would be the use of Oblivious Piloswine (although it now has access to Thick Fat, Oblivious is still arguably viable.) We believe these changes may warrant a suspect test to reintroduce Electrode that may benefit NU overall. Feel free to discuss.
  10. I think Crobat dropped to UU mostly because it lost in viability because of poison heal Gliscor. This will definitely not be a similar case for Mamoswine. Right now, it's better than ever in OU because of all these Gliscor/Garchomp/Dragonite/Breloom dominating the meta
  11. IGN: Azphiel Motivation: I love team events. Ever since I've started playing comp seriously I took part in 3 World Cups, 3 PSL including Team PSL and 2 LCPL. Team events are amazing, I love the feeling of winning as a team after working hard with my teammates to practice and build. Managing seems to be a lot of fun and I would like to try the experience. I have knowledge in all tiers and I would be happy to share all of it, help with the teambuilds and motivate my teammates. Competitive Accolades: Some shiny wins, decent records in team events, won LCPL1 Fluff: Bless Kaynine for only putting only 1 dubs per week
  12. It was not dropped from UUBL since it was not UUBL in the first place. It was placed in OU just like Xatu/Nidoking were after they received their hidden ability, so they are still affected by usage movements
