Because the birds, gerbils, latios & latias, etc being allowed in OU screws up the metagame on Pokemon Online and in B/W matchmaking. >>

:/ That's silly. I'm all for making the legendary Pokemon more difficult to catch, but to bar them completely just seems to kill the spirit of Pokemon.

Publicizing a road map can present added obligation on the devs, which could make this feel more like a chore to them than a fun project. :P

Did you make your text speed faster? I find it to be acceptable, since that's how it is in the games. I believe there's talk among the devs to make the Pokemon center automatically heal your Pokemon when you walk in. But it's just talk. Nothing has been confirmed or denied from what I've seen.

For some reason I laughed when he said "there we are" at like 1:08. Seems pretty complete. :P

I would love to see it eventually get built into some sort of in-game radio thing. :P

Can you imagine the joy that JoltZero could have felt if he had tried this and it worked? :P

Hi. I'm Nebetsu. I'm 24. I enjoy listening to metal groups like Ensiferum, Children of Bodom, Amon Amarth, Dethklok, In Flames, Alestorm, Arkan, Blood Stain Child, and so on. I play Pokemon (obviously), Team Fortress 2, Blacklight: Retribution, and Minecraft. I was an Operator on a quite large Minecraft server until a divergence in server philosophy (they deviated from their old philosophy of 100% legit) drove me to leave. I know Minecraft like the back of my hand and follow it's development quite closely. I've played many many many games ranging from classic NES games to modern titles. I mostly spend my internet time on Reddit and keeping up on many sites through RSS (I'm kind of the human aggregator). I plan to follow PokeMMO and play it regularly. This game made me put down Skyrim, which I'm sure is one of the highest compliments that could be given to a game. I also quite like how high-tech the forums feel. Anywho: Get used to me being around. I have nothing better to do! :D

I'm pretty sure once the admins start seeing more alts than regular accounts due to people farming TM's, they'll change their tune. Being able to keep track of the population is way more important than making this mirror the original game in this instance. And of course it's not my decision, but I can at least provide logical assumptions on why they should resell all the TM's somewhere. I don't really like your attitude of trying to tell people not to give feedback. This game is in Alpha and we're all Alpha testers. They need all the feedback they can find the time to read.

I agree. Many of the philosophies of the original game just don't work in a multiplayer setting and having only one of many of the TM's just isn't conducive to an MMO atmosphere. While many people are clamoring to have TM's reusable, I think there being a place to buy them would really help the server's economy stay running.

If you use a Gameshark on R/B, you can get a "surfboard" item called ??????. Using it by water will make you Surf. So it's clear that this was the original intent. They just decided to force Pokemon to need to know the moves to make things irritating for everyone. :P
