They are separated just because they are definitely different, look closer and you will see one type is trade-able, while the other type is untrade-able. NPC only accepts trade-able type, which you lacked of. So buy more of them from GTL (faster) or just farm them yourself (longer).

Thanks kupo, but I don't think that section will help this, 'cuz it's not like this is true to everyone, but for my friend only, the super minority, so to make a change to the whole sever for this is really not needed. The solution I proposed was posted above: either sending the doll directly via mail (it cost is close to none, so I guess this won't be a problem), or make the doll purchasable somewhere (this is not needed, as not everyone has this problem)

Now I thought it's not a bug really, because if so, everyone would've got it, in this case, I received the doll with no probs, just like so many other players can. Seems like it happened to her account only, don't really know if it has something related to the ROM she used.

Her case is even weirder, on her first time traveled to Slate Port, she boarded the boat there to Kanto out of curiosity, then somehow lost all her money just right away after newly arriving in Kanto (like $200.000 or so she said), now she thought that'd be the cause of this, and thought the game was rude to her.

You missed something very important: when can you use the GTL, remember? --> even for newbies, they still have to grind a bit before they can unlock that. That's enough of a short duration for them to understand a bit about this game, whenever they are able to unlock the GTL, things speed up if this idea come into reality, and that's benefical for both sides Even if you or whoever beats the game with 6 Magikarps or else, that would be a thousand years too soon to surprise me, so, there's no proud in that at all, point is, again, you are in no position to represent for other players, you don't like or don't need it, gud, go somewhere else and ignore this, 'cuz I'm helping those who are in need, not the likes of you. Play time doesn't matter really, my playtime is like 600 hours and buying boxes of the things you mentioned above won't even flinch me a bit, it's a matter of "how", not "how long".
