All Star Match - Community Event
The PokeMMO World Cup is a country based tournament hosted by members of the community. It's the 5th instalment of the PokeMMO World Cup.

As part of this years World Cup we're organizing multiple community based events and the first one is the All Star Match!!!
Based on the World Cup group stage winnings the community has voted for the following All Star captains and players:

The captains will each draft a player for their team with the first pick going to Lumiere as the most voted captain.
Even though the players were voted in the mentioned tiers it does not mean they will be forced to play in said tier.
After all players have been drafted each captain will announce a Wild Card pick from the community.
Each member of the winning team will receive 1200 RP and each member of the losing team will receive 200 RP.
The format will be:
OU; UU; NU; DUBS; LC; Captains Choice 1, Captains Choice 2
The draft will be today (17/11) at 22:00 GMT live on stream https://www.twitch.tv/pokemmoworldcup/ and you can follow the draft on the World Cup discord server.
The all star Match will take place during the final week of the World Cup. Date and time TBA. -

Given the release of part 3, the fact that next week is the start of the community week events and after that we'll be doing a 1 week pause for Halloween event it is fine if we do an extension of this week's scheduling. With the goal of revamping the World Cup community interaction we've created the All Star Match during the community week.
Each week the players that win their respective matches in each tier will be eligible to earn Star Votes from the community until the next week vote starts.

Substitutions:
- If a sub is made the opposing player can choose if he wants to play at the same time or reschedule the match during the ongoing week.
-No substitutions allowed for matches scheduled for the last day of the week. If a substitution is absolutely required for the last day of the week an extension of 24h can be given for the match to be rescheduled.
These 2 rules were added to the rule and guidelines and are in effect as of right now.

Today will be the final stream pre community week so we will finally see at what level we will end up at! At the moment we have 3 more levels of rewards to unlock!
At 110 Million we'll unlock the Triple Threat Event!
Where we will have @Bearminator , @DeusBruno and @xJoseeeplaying Bo3 matches in Random, Triple Battle and Rotation Battles against community members.
At 130 Million we'll unlock the Mad Scientist Event!!

PokeMMO World Cup 5 - Finals Week 9

With a decisive 4-0 match over their opponents Argentina came out as Champions of the 5th edition of the PokeMMO World Cup beating Taiwan who came in the runner up spot with a very impressive performance throughout the tournament. As for Team Latam they beat Venezuela to claim the 3rd spot of the tournament.
Special mention to Venezuela who came in fourth and had a breakthrough performance in the group stage being the only undefeated team in the "Death Group" A.
