Why so ? If you're saying it's to avoid people to manipulate usages near the end season, the best way to fix that would be to give enough interest in the ladder so people can't do that. The tier changes should take into consideration the whole season of usages, all the more in the tiers that are UU, NU & Dubs that have very low usages overall already. If you're doing this please do an average of all 3 months rather than just using usages from 2 or 3 weeks in the last month of the cycle. Also you still haven't fixed UU & NU seasonals that are still hapening after the tier changes which negate the point for players to practice the tier during the season. You've promised thrice already to do something about it, been a year and a half still nothing ?

I don't see it mentionned but "phazing" moves such as Roar & Whirlwind also helps with forcing a switch on Pokemon that would be trying to setup under a sub Other than that, as mentionned sound moves ignore substitutes such as Hyper Voice or Bug Buzz and you can deal with substitutes using multi hit moves but those 2 scenarios are a bit specific and not every team will afford running those. Another solution is to use a faster pivot with Volt Switch or U-Turn to break the sub, but that requires to have a switch in to the said Pokemon, otherwise you'll lose something (such as your Psywave Chansey + a scarf Rotom for Gengar). Also worth noting that some utility moves can hit your target while they're under a substitute such as Taunt or Encore that will help you prevent them from setting up and potentially dealing with them in the long run !

The sheer fact that Dugtrio is still allowed in the tier shows how unefficient the current tiering and TC system is. It took us regular players 13 months to get it out of NU, how long will it stay in UU ? Btw there hasn't been a single active and good UU player defending Dugtrio to stay since minute 1 of the attack revert (SarcasmmW and Sweet don't count). What else do you need ? Issue with the game currently really isn't all the broken shit that is allowed, but more like that the Council that represents all of us competitive players is absolutely unable to carry their function due to how the staff and devs act. It isn't even worth debating here we should just make our own tiering decisions for player hosted tournaments

To be fair that's not the metagame that is seen in PSL right now. This is mostly a ladder thing, even if those HO teams are also all over tournaments (with a fair share of balanced/semistall). And you could also argue that the metagame is such because some threats in the tier are uncheckable (depending on sets), Blaziken being only one of many (Zoroark, Gallade, Absol ...) ? Otherwise, all of the above is absolutely true. Blaziken is just the best/most common pivot in the tier that has plenty of different possible uses, good typing and power with good stabs and good coverages, of course it will see a lot of usage overall. I don't think anyone could say it is not centralizing tho, it hella is. The first thing to do when looking at an NU teambuild is certainly how the team will deal with Blazikens, indeed. But it's not necessarily problematic, what I mean is that Blaziken usual "checks" (or at least the choice scarf physical set ones) are also quite good mons in the overall metagame (outside of Altaria I guess) and they don't need to run a specific spread for it different than what they would normally use.

Did Dontea go dead ? They put a whole betting post last week but never got in contact after I took one of their 500k bets (that I won). I do realize I'm the only one to have taken anything from them, I guess that should have been suspicious enough. Could these changes happen right after the seasonals on 1st and 2nd January ? You know another thing that we been asking for a year and a half now ? Otherwise those tiershift will break the tier right before the tournaments happen, making all the players teams unviable. I'm not even asking that for my own sake, as I haven't built more than 1 or 2 teams per tier this season, but I feel like it would be heavily unfair for the players who actually played and learnt a lot about the meta this season.
