All the players that are playing must be registered! Only those players are allowed to play for your team
One representative from their own team registers their players (posts edited after the tournament has begun will lead to disqualification)

Details
Players battle as teams (3 at a time) | Teams can switch out which members compete between rounds
During battle, teams will stand in rows facing their opponents
The top spot of the column will be an OU Match
The middle spot will be a UU Match
Below, there will be NU Match
Disconnecting during a match will result in disqualification
Do not block the players running the Event. If you disregard requests for you to unblock them then you will be disqualified
Once your match is called you will have 10 minutes to report to the table. No time extensions will be given
Time clause is in effect for stalemate battles in round 1 and 2.
When there is a tie (1-1) and the third match takes over an hour, a decision by the host may be made about the outcome of the duel

- All Pokemon must remain unchanged (untrained/unevolved...)
- Pokemon must be the player's OT
- You can only submit one Entry
- You must link your entry to a judge via whisper to submit your entry
- In the event of a tie, the winner will be determined through earliest catch time

What's good! New to the forums, and back to the game with a new account years after initially playing :)
I'm very curious as to why all of the items available in the Gift Shop, including Donator Tickets, can be purchased with in game resources through one means or another, save for the Amnesia Brace. After the conversation came up in Global, I felt inclined to start a thread, but I see now that this question has been asked for years. Surely, there must be a rationale for the decision to mark the Amnesia Brace as 'Untradeable', and we can speculate on that, but it'd be nice to know for certain the vindicating argument.
I'm not against it as long as it's reasonably justified, and in all honestly, I'll most likely pay for one soon whether or not the decision to limit the availability of the Amnesia Brace is extenuated.
This doesn't upset me because I'm ok with paying. I'm just curious why I HAVE to.
Maybe it's really as simple as that. I'd like to imagine an untradeable Amnesia Brace was implemented to help maintain a fragile economy, or something along those lines, but maybe it really is simply content secluded behind a pay wall. As I mentioned, I'm not against this at all. I'm actually very grateful that the vast majority of items are NOT implemented in this way. Just lookin' for an straight answer is all. Kinda seems outta place, don't ya think?

We don't yet know what day the official Team Tournament will be!
Bear said that it will either be on the 15th, or the 22nd.
Rather than just choosing one of those, I figured it was safer to simply hold the event on a Sunday.
If people respond well to the Villa Gathering, I'd be happy to host them more often, perhaps even once a month on the 2nd Saturday, 2 weeks between each official Team Tournament, so that we get two tournaments a month! :D
That is, provided the community is interested in that, of course.
It really depends on what everyone wants.
