If we did that, whoever pays the speed up would end story mode and farm/look for shinies faster, it would be a huge advantage against the ones who don't want to speed up battles or simply don't want to pay for it. We do appreciate all the constructive feedback we get. Even if we don't respond, doesn't mean we didn't read, sometimes it just means there's things we can't really discuss, like Linfanz mentioned here: Changes don't happen from one day to the other. We have planned and announced events, also some things require discussion and readaptation. That said, I chose a non-shiny gift because of the limitations, not because I don't think a 128 tournament is worth it. Also it's 128 because even if it's a non-shiny, people still want to join and we often get complaints about not enough seats on 64 tournaments, especially on weekends. If you want to be sure your event suggestion is being read by higher staff members though, I suggest to put it here: Please note that Linfanz posted there about it too:

I'm sorry, I don't understand your point. Since he's wanting a male Nidoran I gave him an easier way to get it, instead of counting with RNG breeding Nidorans, he could breed a Nidorino. :)

Nidos breeding mechanic is different than the rest, yes :) As I said, if you want it to be for sure a male, you gotta breed a Nidorino with a Ditto.

Hi! Nidorans when bred have 50% chance for Nidoran male and 50% for female. Nidoran female can't learn Head Smash, just males, that's why yours didn't have it. You gotta keep trying to breed a Nidoran female (mandatory to get a baby Nidoran) like you're doing until you have a male with Head Smash. You could also breed a Nidorino that has Head Smash with a Ditto, that way you'd guarantee the baby would be a Nidoran male with this move. Nidorinos with Ditto will be 100% Nidoran male, Nidorinas with any Field or Monster male will be 100% Nidoran female.
