  1. I suggest you build with only ONE Pokémon as a base, and from there cover its weaknesses. Building with a base of a weak pokémon x4 to Fire and the second pokémon putting another weak x4 is a tremendous mistake bro, also both are Steel type, and Magnezone exists
  2. One or two days of Gym and npc farming is 800k at 1.6m, Almost what a complete competitive team comes out (!!!). in a time of 4 hours a day (!!!!!)... It's ridiculous mate, there is life outside of the game, anyone who wants to start playing will be demotivated, and the idea is that new players stay.
  3. The idea of an mmo is that players get their resources with hours of play, yes. But making a new player have excessive difficulty even starting to play is stupid the way I see it. Nobody gets anything ''for free'' I totally understand greenspade's point, I have 2 venusaur, 2 feraligatr and 1 SD Infernape, I had 2 Espeon, I had to sell them and re-breed them... Having to spend around 5 or 6m just to make the Feraligatr, Venusaur and Infernape change his ability is ridiculous, and I doubt that changing his method of obtaining it will continue to be viable for new players honestly.
  4. Hello brother, let me give you a hand. I don't think it's a bad idea to use those 3 mons on the same team, but there are some bugs with the way OU is currently. The most convenient thing would be to use a garchomp cband with the same set you have there, or use a stealth rock garchomp variant, it can be physical with Eq + Dragon Claw + Fire Fang/Toxic + Stealth Rock or mixed with Fire Blast /Flametrhower + Draco Meteor + Eq + Stealth Rock, I don't suggest calming down with rocks because you already have something that plays a special defensive role, and bulking it up would be a waste from my point of view. Ferro isn't bad, but it has to go with Gyro Ball to be able to switch to fast pokes, believe me, it's very useful (in return I'd remove protect). And if he decides to run the Garchomp cband set I suggested, switch Spikes to Ferrothorn and give him Stealth Rock. And as for Chansey, it's not bad, though when you're done building your team, never stop considering running Blissey if you find you have nothing to count Gengar, Chandelure, or Hydreigon. And well, I focused on recommending that you give Stealth Rock to any of the other 2 pokemon because in Chansey you lack a 100% necessary move: Teleport. And for the rest of the team the Rotom-Wash option is not bad at all, just analyze that your team is still too weak to fighting type, so focus first on putting something to stop this guy and then if you can put Rotom to have something to remove the rocks with. Good luck! 😄
  5. Which would make the game ridiculously unplayable for new players who want to start playing competitively, with metagames where Serperior, Venusaur, Feraligatr, or Sceptile, to name examples, simply exist.
  6. I thought I'd mention it, but knowing how long it takes to add new things to the game... Maybe in 2030
  7. I honestly can't see the problem with Serperior, I don't really see it as a threat to destroy OU... There's Volcarona, Weavile (who can get in clean with the help of a bliss tp, for example), there's Golbat, Crobat (who takes +2 dragon pulse and can restore his hp with roost, use haze or just brave bird) . Also, in the case of a Serperior with a substitute, who knows when the staff will think about giving infiltrator to Chandelure, Golbat, and Crobat Instead of requesting a ban/nerf from Serperior, wouldn't it be more convenient to request that they give you those 3 mons HA immediately so you don't nerf something that will inevitably be better controlled when the game is actually HA? (I can't consider this method of obtaining HA as the ''real'' one because of its cost)
  8. Well, I don't know if this has been suggested before... I think it's time to fix the way you get HA as it currently sucks. Alphas keep increasing in price, making them very difficult to breed for players who don't have as many resources (money, time, or both). On top of that, patches are also quite expensive for average players, this makes players less encouraged to try new strategies for fear of spending 1.6m foolishly, which reduces the versatility of them and makes it difficult to even test phase of an HA Pokémon. to see if it's broken for that level or not (Example: Sceptile SD + Unburden hasn't been tested, although currently without Golbat and Weezing in NU, it could become quite a dangerous monster). My suggestion is simple: implement HA pills, just as there are pills that change common abilities. The patchs and alpha thing has worked (sort of) at first, but it's already punishing players. Both the new ones who want to start in PvP, as well as the veterans who do not want to recreate a mon that we have 5 times on our PC dying of disgust.
  9. Ok, I'm in, send me an in-game mail to diositoslurpuff whenever you like
  10. If you are a new player you may want to use something simpler to learn: Cloyster is currently very manageable, which is reflected in his current usage in OU, possibly the best thing you could do as a new player would be to run the typical defensive core of Blissey + Cofagrigus, both of whom cover decently and can deal with Kingdra specs in rain and with the common physical offensives of the tier (Except maybe Excadrill SD and Kabutops SD), then put in rotom wash to have to use defog, garchomp mixed with stealth rock, and finally put in a physical offensive and a special one to completing, possibly one of them Choice scarf

  12. Ok, I like this team slightly more than the previous one you showed, but I see some mistakes that could be dangerous. - Lack of Defogger/Spinner: This is too important on any team in a tier other than dubs, and even though you don't have a Pokemon weak to rock, I'd suggest using some mon with Defog or Rapid Spin. - Garchomp is... Weird: Ok, I understand Chomp's 252 Atk, it allows 2hko eq to Blissey, but I suggest 252 SpAt, to 2HKO Cofagrigus and Hippowdon, to give examples, - I don't see Gengar as a good option: I mean, yes, he's a pretty powerful mon, but I can't help but see that Safeguard Volcarona can wipe out the entire team... I suggest using Chandelure sub calm mind to somehow deal with it that variant. - Scizor: I suggest doing it cband, with that EV spread and considering that you have no mon choice, giving that item to Zor would be more beneficial to my way of seeing it. Blissey and Chomp: I suggest remove Dclaw from Garchomp, giving him 252 SpAt and Stealth rock, remove Stealth rock from Blissey and giving him tp would definitely be the best option. Skarmory doesn't convince me so much there, even more so considering the lack of Defogger, I could suggest Mandibuzz, Gliscor, Crobat or some form of Rotom, but I will only advise you to change it for a pokemon capable of removing rocks, and in case you choose Rotom -Wash to do it, Trading Milotic for Cofagrigus and even Weezing could be opportune.
  13. It would be great if you could explain what the ev spread of certain mons is calculated for, like the 96 speed on Tom-Wash (which I can only assume is for outspeed to Scizor adamant 252 Speed), among other things, without those calculations it's hard really give a good constructive criticism to the team, although if I can say something, I see almost zero resistance to pokes like Conkeldurr bulk up, which can free turn boost and deal tremendous damage to your team, and well, other dangerous cases like Darmanitan , etc.

So... The cartoons I asked you for are screwed up? xD
  15. https://pokepast.es/70e3c9b76a36fb5a I suggest something like this, or change the core to Darmanitan + Serperior + Rotom, that makes it a bit easier to build since Rotom wouldn't be forced to be a scarf since he's already Darmanitan.
  16. Not really. 252 SpA Rotom-Wash Volt Switch vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Togekiss: 92-110 (47.9 - 57.2%) -- 90.6% chance to 2HKO 252 SpA Rotom-Wash Hidden Power Ice vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Togekiss: 62-74 (32.2 - 38.5%) -- 97% chance to 3HKO 252 SpA Rotom-Wash Hydro Pump vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Togekiss: 79-94 (41.1 - 48.9%) -- guaranteed 3HKO Volt Switch makes the 2HKO possible, yes, but it can't be said to be a direct counter, especially if we take into account that Togekiss has access to Calm mind + Roost, and since Rotom was slower, I rule out the possibility that your Rotom be Scarf or have Discharge (Movement very rare to see in rotom by the way) As for Togekiss in general, I haven't had a chance to face a calm-minded Togekiss yet, but actually, although he's a very good man, it's possible to control him. Dragonite is possibly the best counter build, and I personally haven't seen Togekiss + Aura Sphere in a while, so consider Magnezone and Tyranitar as possible counters as well. And it also has its checks, like Weavile or even Jolteon if you dare to use it. You can even use a Milotic 252 Speed + Haze to specifically neutralize Togekiss, if you run into him too much and need to fire him. In conclusion, I think Togekiss is a good mon, but it's not "broken" as there are many ways to stop it.
  17. I see no reason for this, the legendaries do not ruin PvP, and in fact, the ones that are very broken, would make Ubers playable, so as I see it, the legendaries with respect to PvP, improve the game, not ruin it. Regarding the main topic, to implement legendaries permanently for everyone... I totally agree.

  19. True, but if you're a new player you probably don't know what ev spread to give a lot of mons, in which case it would be best to make them 5x31 so you can change your spread when you see the need to do. Look, contrary to the previous comment, I suggest that you use a godstuff composition, that is, that you use 6 mons that are among the most used, since that way you will learn about its operation, you will learn how to handle it and you will also learn how to counter it by seeing how your first Rivals try to stop him. I also suggest using a balanced composition, ie not using 100% attackers or 100% walls. I suggest balanced to learn how to use attackers and also learn how to use walls, I think it's the best to start with. Therefore, it would be best if you made a composition of: - 4 attackers (2 physical and 2 special) + 2 walls (One physical capable of stopping Conkeldurr and one special capable of stopping Kingdra choice specs in rain) Or on the other hand... - 3 attackers (Physical-Special-Mixed/physical/special) + 3 walls (1 physical able to stop conkeldurr and other problematic physical mons again + 1 special able to stop kingdra specs in rain + 1 support such as something with defog like Rotom, something with rocks like Ferrothorn, Skarmory, etc) Your goals for having a good OU team are simple: - Have a good synergy, and that your pokes manage to make a good team covering their types and their roles - Have a way to deal with rain, sun and sand teams (mainly rain) - Have a Pokémon that targets entry hazards (I recommend one with stealth rock, although if you also manage to incorporate a Spikes or Toxic Spikes user it would also be great) - A Pokémon with Defog or Rapid Spin (I recommend Defog, but it's up to you) - Ways to stop boosting pokemon (I recommend a special wall that can take damage from boosted pokes + a physical wall with mist to deal with both types of setup sweepers). - And necessarily, a pokémon that is immune to the electric type, in order to deal with Volt Switch users and prevent your opponent from generating momentum for free.
  20. I see unnecessary Excadrill and Jellicent, a good mon that can check superior would be Weavile icircle (I also use it with beat up by Chande or Gengar sub nplot), I see 2 water types, Jellicent and Rotom Wash, so I would recommend either swap Jellicent x Cofagrigus (You'd gain a haze user on the team and thus a way to slow down Reuniclus), or swap Rotom-W for Rotom-M, and replace Ferrothorn to avoid repeating types as much as possible. One thing about your team is that there isn't anything fast enough to match up to a Scarf, nor is there any special defense to deal with Kingdra cspecs, Exeggcuttor life orb, etc. There is a huge glut of physical defenses (Ferro, Jellicent, Rotom-W), but you don't have any special defenses. Exactly the same goes for attackers, you don't have a special one (Garchomp can't be considered one, if he doesn't hit super effective, he doesn't defeat anything). By the way, are Ferro's EVs calculated for something specifically or did you randomize them?
  21. I'm going to advise you to first have the 5 mons in mind and after that consider his moveset, that way you could avoid situations at the end of the build like "Oh, I see that in this slot Garchomp cband would have been more convenient instead of this one" 'to give an example. On the other hand... I'm not convinced by a double steel core, have you considered that Magnezone complicates you too much? it's probably more convenient to stick with Scizor and see what to put in Skarmory's slot.
