So I literally fought agaisnt N at the ferris wheel about 50 times. every single time I am about to use a super effective attack on a pokemon he knows EXACTLY when to switch. he knows EXACTLY which move I selected EVERYTIME. heres the thing. when i purposely chose an attack that WAS NOT super effective HE DOESNT SWITCH THE POKEMON!! he knows which move i selected EVERYTIME. . the trainers will ALWAYS put out the first pokemon that is strongest agaisnt your first EVERYTIME this is 100 percent its not chance its literally 100 percent predicted. I tested this for about 6 hours and I could not beat n no matter what I did. When i realized that the game LITERALLY knows which attack you picked i then thought ok Ill just use torment so it cant just switch perfectly and spam the same move thats strongest against me over and over. 1 try and i beat N with torment. Also since i knew that if i just use attacks THAT ARE NOT SUPPER AFFECTIVE that the trainer WILL NOT CHANGE POKEMON TO COUNTER THE MOVE!!! I understand making a game more difficult but this is DEF NOT THE WAY TO DO IT!! All this does is slim down the tactics you can choose to win. You just play the game around knowing that the trainer knows exactly which pokemon to use and attack you used. for example I have a rock type pokemon. agaisnt a electric. I KNOW 100 percent that if i use a rock move it will change no matter what. So on purpose I will choose an attack thats not super effective and that it will damage both pokemon averagely to both. this makes the game very very very boring and predictable. torment,Arena lock, and using moves that do damage to pretty much every type was the key to winning. = lame and boring once i figured this out. again I just started playing again and once i figured this out the game was super easy cuz the ai is literally cheating so hard that you just have to always assume itll perfectly switch and perfectly know what move you used last. again I understand you want the game to be difficult but honestly this makes it easy once you understand what I typed above. the key is arena lock,torment,moves that do damage to all types averagely. I know there is much more into the game, I know trust me. but this was just not fun in anyway at all it just limited every option for me. IDK how else you would fix this but this really needs to be looked at.
