Damn that's painful, had a friend go 300K+ once and he almost lost his mind.... He then ended up getting like 5 shiny mons in a month so hopefully same will happen to you!

I really like the sound of this idea! As long as its just the more "common" mons being rotated out monthly it could help keep hunts fresh and less painful when phasing.

Not a huge fan on the idea of diluting legendary shiny mons but I do agree that there needs to be some kind of legendary sink at some point. Otherwise, their value will just continue to plummet.

Completely agree with this, absolutely 0% chance of a change. Money sinks like this is what keeps the economy going.

I do completely understand this but this tournament is primarily a test run for me to be able to see how running one works. Once I know it goes smoothly prizes should ideally be tripled for the next one. It is also stated that increased prize pools will be available for future events but don't get me wrong I know it is not a lot of money for this one.

The Pokémon Fighting Championship! Date Thursday, 24th June 2021 and Friday, 25th June 2021 Time 8:10 PM BST | 7:10 PM UTC (On both days) Each days 15 games will look to be completed by 11pm BST | 10pm UTC but will be continued until all of the games are done for each day. Location Kanto, Indigo Plateau, Ch1 Communication We will use the local channel to communicate at all times for people not in the stream. If at anytime someone is confused then they should whisper me personally or ask on stream for clarification. How the winner is determined: There will be 6 participants who will undergo 5 battles each for a total of 30 battles. Each battle will have one of the following outcomes for each participant: Win = 3 points Loss = 0 points 15 of these games will happen on the first day (Thursday, 24th June 2021) and the other 15 will happen on the second day (Friday, 25th June 2021) Scoring Whoever has the most points at the end of the event will be the winner! A tie in points will be determined by a 1v1 after all other games have been played. In the case of multiple people being tied on points, each participant will have a 1v1 where the first match will be based on the names of the first two players alphabetically and the winner will face the remaining participant on the same amount of points.
