  1. I don't really see the point of implementing another region when it won't be adding any new features/Pokemon. It'll take a large  amount of time to develop however we'll be getting only a small amount of content since once you play through it a single time you'll be done with it - Adding another region won't be doing anything for the game at this point.

or something along those lines anyway ¬

Someone once said that PokeMMO has the width of an ocean but the depth of a puddle and I couldn't agree more. Adding more regions looks good on the surface  however it won't help the game in the long run especially when PokeMMO only becomes problematic  in the late game once people have beaten the regions.           ^ It pretty much becomes a worse Pokemon Showdown or just a place to idle ^

What I think would be good for the game is some end game content apart from catching events and PVP. Personally I really like the idea of having replayable/farmable PVE content which would actually keep people playing.

                                                                                                                        Like hopefully dungeons

  2. I would like it if PokeMMO got more Graphical settings to improve the look of the game whilst adding more customizability between users. I'm thinking these options could include more Anti-Aliasing options and the addition of screen filters. PokeMMO is usually an easy game to run on most systems (PC) and because of that there is room to improve the graphics whilst still having great fps. Also for people with lower end systems there are Aliasing methods with little reduction on performance which PokeMMO don't use.

For people who don't know Anti-Aliasing is a way in which you can improve graphical fidelity by smoothing jagged edges and distortions. In PokeMMO you only have the option to use MSAA which there is nothing wrong with it however there are more modern methods such as TXAA/MLAA or even SSAA and probably more. These methods of Anti-Aliasing are more resource demanding however they do a much better job at improving the Graphics of the game. Also for people who are struggling to run the game but still want less jagged edges there is FXAA which PokeMMO also doesn't have. I don't think that having more Anti-Aliasing options is necessary however most people easily have the performance to use more modern methods and they would have a more graphically appealing game.

Now onto screen/game filters which can alter the appearance of games by applying a filter usually over an upscaled resolution. These can dramatically alter the appearance a game for the better however they will also use more resources. An example of a screen filter is HQX however there are loads.

This is an image I have found online of HQ2X and HQ2XS filtering. As you can see they change the graphical appearance a lot - I think it makes the most difference in the overworld though. The thing with options like these is that it comes down to personal preference whether you like it or not however there are so many screen filtering options out there so there is definitely something for everyone. Because of PokeMMOs lacklustre graphical settings it would be nice for more options like these.

    Thank you

  3. I agree with OP because by removing the effects of Baton Pass you are making E4 runs less viable. By doing this you're restricting players in the ways they can make money and in a sense erasing content since the E4 now is so unviable. I think its important to have variety in any game especially an MMO and now the only consistent way of making money in-game (not providing a service) is gym rebattles.

I personally don't mind the competitive implications of the current Baton Pass since PokeMMO has always had a slightly different meta to the norm. I don't mind seeing shake-ups however I know some people who do dislike this from a competitive standpoint. Regardless, from my perspective the baton pass changes are a step backwards

  4. Overall I like the recent update because of Sinnoh but I don't understand why the devs would want to change Baton Pass. I agree with OP in it being reverted back to the way it was originally was but also in it keeping the mechanic where it passes stat changes. This update has killed one of (if not the best) money makers in the game. First berry farming now e4 runs.

  5. Maybe having hazard removal would be beneficial because you have a few mons weak to rocks. Personally I'd put the scarf on Chandelure whilst having Togekiss with a defensive set learn defog.

(If it doesn't know defog already.)

  6. Also these two if you don't mind lmao

    Pokemon: Tentacruel

    Iv's: 3x31 (Hp, Def, Speed)

    2x27 (SAtk, SDef)

    Nature: Bold

    Egg Moves: Haze, Rapid Spin

    Gender: Whatever

    Pokeball: Whatever

    Pokemon: Hippowdon

    Iv's: 3x31 (Hp, Def, SDef)

    2x27 (Atk, Speed)

    Nature: Impish

    Egg Moves: Slack Off, Whirlwind

    Gender: Whatever

    Pokeball: Whatever

    much thanks

  7. Because this game is an MMO there are probably hundreds of players catching shinies a day. By increasing the rates anymore than that you're significantly lowering the value of the Pokemon themselves. Therefore it isn't as rewarding financially nor as gratifying which is the whole point in catching shinies.

I do have a basic understanding of battling, and i know damn well that something 14 levels below me shouldnt be able to one shot me unless it uses a ohko move, type advantage or not. Charizard has plenty high attack, and its never been a problem before, especially when im above the level of what im fighting

Considering your saying that something 14 levels below can't ohko regardless of type advantage and that Charizard has a high physical attack stat, your basic understanding of battling may not be quite enough. Instead of trying to beat everything with your starter, find, catch and level a Pokemon which would be beneficial to your whole team.

  9. Charizard's physical attack is mediocre so I don't know why your running a physical move on it in the first place. Also Arcanine has straight up more bulk and better offensive stats. With the Charizard set your running I'm not surprised that it can ohko you whilst you couldn't ohko Arcanine. The game isn't hard as long as you have some knowledge and a basic understanding of battling and the Pokemon themselves. If something isn't working out just rethink your strategy and research a little maybe.

Never thought of it, but what would you even need to open more than one instance on a device?

I would think about evolving pokemon by trade but I mean, it can be accomplished if you have a friend xD (which I don't, btw. I evolve with from one account to the other :'l)

I plan to make money by using multiple accounts to rebattle trainers/gyms at the same time. If I was using 3 accounts it would be 3x the work however I would be making almost 3x the money per hour for example.
