I haven't read any replies to this topic so sorry if someone has said this already but I don't think its p2w. All buying £ does is speed things up.

 

Even if you have the best Pokemon you're not going to win the tourneys because its skill based.

and if you buy things to increase your shiny rate its still a horrible monotonous grind.

 

@ the end of the day though its a mmo, how do beat an mmo?

I also recommend krookodile (moxie) & excadrill - I find they are a pretty mindless choice when I want to do reruns. Just keep in mind that all the tools that you need are there but you may have to do some extra research such as gym leader sets, wild pokemon etc if you're struggling that much.

I think I understand what you mean here. For me when I switch I want to make sure that the pokemon coming in can completely wall or out speed & OHKO. I recommend using some kind of bulky pivot (a good example being scizor) for this as it makes the thought process a lot simpler. https://www.www.smogon.com/bw/articles/bw_volt_turn This is an old article I recommend you skimming over because any of these pokemon would be a super good choice for solving this problem. ^

This isn't the case at all, it just sounds like you need more game knowledge. If you want to keep on playing just know it will get easier.

I think considering that people have the option spend money on this game some more communication about the development (or lack thereof) is very reasonable. Its not like some fan passion project; The devs are gaining revenue from it. I understand that they aren't locked in a basement working away 24/7  however every decent MMO has communication/ a roadmap

Wich style do you prefer? For me it's NY or neapolitan. 

For me neapolitan pizza is the best. It may sound weird but the crust is so good when its all charred and there are burnt bits and its very yummy with the simple ingredients.

Do you have any plans to address other issues brought up by this thread such as the banning of players and "gts scamming" in general? 

 

In the code of conduct it states that "You may not defraud other Users of in-game currency, items, resources, or services to be performed (commonly known as "Scamming")." Most players wouldn't consider listing RP vouchers at a higher price scamming - Even if they do have ill intentions, the buyer has a conformation prompt so ultimately the responsibility falls on them.

 

Regardless of whether you agree or not, can we see that these permanent bans (at least) become temporary as there has been a clear lack of understanding due to the vagueness of the code of conduct/rules. And can we see the code of conduct/rules being updated to show your stance on "gts scamming" in particular?

It really does feel that way eh? I'm surprised about how much noise we make of the forums and it doesn't equate to anything. You'd think the good way to go about it is by listening to your audience but here we are. 

 

As for this thread, its already been said but I don't think anything needs to be done as there already is a second conformation before buying an item - Surely at that point the responsibility falls upon the buyer. I agree with changing the colour of RP tickets though.

 

Also, as most everyone else thinks, its absolutely ridiculous players got banned for this. I don't think staff are at fault whatsoever but I don't understand this disconnect between the rules and what will get you banned in actuality. Also I've heard that players didn't get warned which in combination with what I've just wrote doesn't help.

We have all the Johto Pokemon... if Johto will be released people gonna finish the story in less than 6 hours, then just start farming gyms and Berry's like the others Regions, we need Hidden Abilities or new Pokemon, that's a necessary update not "Johto".

I think the same, Johto doesn't actually do anything for the games' longevity. Rather than devs spending years making another region I would rather have something replayable or relevant in post game. But yes, HA's and dungeons when?

Quite annoying how staff spend time deleting messages rather than helping to address the problem.

I think its at least reasonable that staff comment on how the development of HA's and dungeons are going since its literally been years without a word. PokeMMO has many loyal long-time players and I think they owe it to them to at least say anything. A lot of people in this post have made amazing points. It would really suck for this just to be swept under the rug for nothing like many before it.

I'm guessing you don't mean your fans so from personal experience it could be your hard drive if you have one. I had a really cheap one which I bought from Ebay and that shit sounded like a mortar and pestle. If you're using a laptop, prebuilt PC or an SSD that's unlikely though. 

 

Another idea is that you have a loose wire which is hitting a fan - it kinda makes sense as you say that you only hear the noise 5-10 mins in as they'll spin faster potentially from all the background processes which will have loaded in within that time. 

 

Other than that if you hear electrical noises it could be your power supply.

I don't think the story would satisfy very many people for long. IMO adding another region at this point won't do anything for the game especially because its Johto - There won't be any new mons. Most of the player base has already beaten all the regions and there is little to do other than catching events and comp. Adding another region would be so much more work for the devs whilst simultaneously adding very little meaningful content in the grand scheme of things since once players beat the region they'll only have catching events, comp, etc to do again. 

 

IMO it would much better for the devs to add replayable and rewardful end game content because that's what going to keep people playing. 

 

EDIT: I misread the whole point of this topic being about Kanto but I think my points still apply

I like the idea but I'm genuinely curious - What's the point of the devs taking time to implement this feature and potentially delaying actual content when we can already listen to all this music on Youtube.
