Hey guys, I would like to ask if there is a different encounter rate for pokemon during night and day like in the original games. For example, Scyther at Route 210 has 15% encounter rate during morning and 5% for both day and night time whereas in our pokedex it only mentions that its a rare encounter.

But if the Pokedex doesn't state that the Pokemon has a second/third ability can we still get them with the pill?

With regards to the changelog here it says some abilities/ hidden abilities were added to the game. My question is how can we get them on new and old pokemon?

I'm using a trapinch atm which increases encounters by 10%, does illuminate or swarm increase more? I guess Larvitar is the way to go eh, thanks again!

Only problem i have with pupitar is that its resistant to normal type attacks (false swipe) and has an ability which awakens it from sleep hence the thread to perhaps get some tips and tricks. Larvitar encounter rate has been awful for me as well which is why I'm asking about pupitars :( Thanks though for your reply!

Whats the best way to catch Pupitar in Unova? Please state the Pokemon and moves needed please and would it be better to farm Larvitars at Seven Island instead?
