Hello! Starter and gift Pokemon cannot be bred or traded but you can release them by putting them in a PC box and going to the last tab at their summary. Torterra can be useful for storyline though so I don't recommend releasing it, you can just store it in your PC if you'd like. Hope this helps! ?
