I haven't played in a few years and i recently re download and it seems the gyms are harder to beat. An Example is Lt. Surge now has 4 pokemon (Voltorb Lv. 26, Magnemite Lv.27, Pikachu Lv. 28, Raichu Lv. 30) In the guides i have found for this game, Lt Surge should have 3 pokemon lvls 18 to 24.
