  1. Gonna be blunt - List below - Balancing both pvp/pve the same this needs to stop there two different things dont follow same rules shouldn't follow tournament rules regularations. those are things should only exist for pvp and pvp alone - balancing the game purely on pvp <-stop doing this - Removing Legendries - we do not need anything special. if worried about them effecting pvp then make it so they cant be used in pvp. but perfectly fine to get them use them in pve, cause pvp isn't pve not the same never should be - Hidden Abilities - just should be added gained normally no need make super special dungeon. we got players who are completely new to pokemon. taking both legendries and hidden abilities out. again shows this game is purely baised when comes to pvp. doesn't care for pvb content what made organial games enjoyable. - To many functions not functioning al this moment - Not adding Johto and not showing any love for pokemon in general. - never communicating or talking about future updates or is if there is gonna be any future updates at all. - Heonn looking awful needing visual update These are major issues with current game. as far as im concerned couldn't care about pvp. its got enough attention lately we need focus on things make a pokemon game. not take things away. that the devs personally don't like cause pokemon community as whole. we all have different opinions what are favorite starter is this can be said about our favorite regions. shouldnt disrespect people have love for pokemon games - When say your gonna do something like add hidden abilities, legendries and what not its important that you talk to the communities that support your game. get nothing but silence. no teasers or any hints of the future my friends play this game with me often get questions tossed at me. like why dont we have legendries or have hidden abilities my reply to them cause this game balience around pvp. is against any type of casual fun.

  8. I see a big problem in players of this style thinking only of myself, I want to have a zapdos next to my partner, but you have to think of everything else, for example: they insert legendary, people could exchange / sell them, you would only have 1 per adventure with x ivs or x nature? it's a big change for PVE because you insert legendaries it's not the same to go through the pokemon story without legendaries or anything like that to break the whole balance that exists just to be able to have a zapdos walking behind you. "Not adding Johto and not showing any love for pokemon in general." a totally unnecessary attack , this is a good project that combines many games that we like and allows us to do many things it is not a rom insert and it 's over , it takes a lot of work to make this game . Lack of communication ... when they have to say important things they are going to say them, but I am sorry to tell you that they are not slaves to anyone to be saying what they do at all times

  11. @Metalkitty66 I would like to commend you on having one of the worst list of suggestions/proposed changes I've read in a while on these forums. I hope they do not stop doing this. I am glad they made this decision and would be even more ecstatic if they stripped them from all privileged accounts. My personal preference leans towards not seeing everyone with a legendary sprite walking around the overworld through normal means. If it involves dungeons/raids or other difficult ways for an extended limited amount of time I'd welcome that. No thank you. I prefer an alternative way for obtaining hidden abilities. Thankfully they have not publicly implemented what you are suggesting here as of yet. I for one would love a special dungeon where at the end you are given an option for an HA that is determined by RNG (requiring multiple instances if you are not happy with the outcome). Too vague and I disagree. Not surprised to see this suggestion, especially with what I've seen from you so far. I'd like to reiterate again that I am glad this has not been their primary focus yet (from what they have stated). I hope Johto is never added at this rate, so I can use it as a filter for certain users (jk?). I feel they have a lot of love for pokemon... I feel as though you are too obsessed and blinded at this point to see it. It may not be to your preference but they definitely have and still are. Delays are unfortunate but lying here like you have does not help your cause. Another awful suggestion. Lol.

  12. It wouldn't happen Accessing PCs anywhere would have a huge effect on the storyline difficulty and economy. Being able to heal pokemon by using the pc would mess with item farming, shiny farming and Pokemon farming. I believe it was one of the reasons PCs in secret bases was denied in the past.

  17. 2 months ago, a few of our more attentive players noticed that March 29th 2022 would be the 10th anniversary of the forums coming online. As a brief history lesson for everyone, the first public test of the game started a few weeks later in April 2012, then the "alpha" (now known as PokeMMO Epsilon™) was released in June 2012. While originally we were just planning on a large content update to commemorate the date, maybe throw in some massive tournament or something, we had the brilliant idea to instead make a one-time event outside of what we call "event season"- the period of Halloween/Christmas/Chinese New Year where we normally don't permit large, breaking changes so as to not interrupt the events by leaving you with an unplayable video game. "Get hyped" we said, because it'd be good. Then, despite our better judgment, we doubled down by not only giving ourselves a deadline to come up with something and get it out, but a public deadline. Several in fact, and we've managed to blow all of them in a fantastic fashion. Today marks the date of our 4th deadline being missed, and I'm happy to announce that we're commemorating this feat of project logistics by releasing the Torch & Pitchfork Seasonal items. These items will be available until the next update releases. We expect that to be Soon™ish, probably around Two Weeks™, but we're giving ourselves some leeway so we don't need to make more announcements about announcements. When we get there, this will also be an unusual update process. We'll be breaking it into a 3 part series: The major, fragile changes will occur before the event. This will be our launch of the open beta iOS client, general changes like moveset updates, bug fixes, and a large suite of scripting changes to help us support future regions. A few days later, after we're sure that the game's not completely busted, the event will start. Finally, after the event ends, a new permanent feature will launch. We'll keep that one a surprise for now. Until then, See you Soon™!

  18. Hello! My name is King (IGN: thekingofglory) I created a Sound Effects mod that replaces the shiny Pokémon particle sound effect (in battle) with another sound effect (e.g., an alarm clock or any music of your choice). This does not replace or remove the sparkle animation; furthermore, it does not replace or remove non-shiny particle sound effects and animations (e.g., Kingfall, Pumpkid, Lantern, etc.). I strongly recommend it only for those who are shiny hunting, not intended for PvP. This Sound Effects mod triggers whenever a shiny Pokémon particle sparkles on either side, you or your opponent; thus, it's important to toggle off the particle if you're leading with one (e.g., shiny Eevee, shiny Smeargle, shiny Breloom, etc.), so you don't get spammed or baited by your own shiny. Instructions (primarily for players who are new to adding mods; do not skip steps 5 and 6): (1) Download the file(s) (links below) into your PokeMMO "mods" folder (PokeMMO > data > mods); (2) Launch the PokeMMO client and open your mod via "Mod Management" in the bottom-right corner; (3) Enable the downloaded mod (look for "Author: Thekingofglory"); click on "Save" and the client should restart; (4) Launch the PokeMMO client again; click on "Settings" and the "Sound" tab; (5) Set the "Music Volume" to 0%; and (6) Set the "Sounds Effects Volume" to any % greater than 0% (e.g., 20%, 50%, 100%); "System Effects Volume" doesn't affect this mod. 19. This guide is written in English CLICK HERE (<- Español y/o Portugues). 中文翻译 (Chinese translation) Hello PokeMMO Shiny Hunter \o/ I have been considering writing a shiny hunting guide for a while as there is no detailed one out there. In addition, I thought it would be the perfect time to create a shiny hunting guide due to my blessed RNG in 2020 (link). What will you gain and learn from reading this guide? Firstly, this guide will contain a shiny hunt introduction that will provide you with basic knowledge about the PokeMMO shiny rates and possible modifications that can increase your odds of finding a shiny. In addition, I will also introduce you to the use of Sweet Scent and the nerdy aspect of binomial distribution calculation of shiny hunting. Secondly, I have added a short section about the most common methods in the aspect of PokeMMO shiny hunting (horde hunting, single encounters, egg hatching and hunting in the Safari Zone). Furthermore, I have added a short section about helpful shiny hunting tools that can benefit you throughout your hunt, including an Encounter Counter and a HD Sprite shiny mod. Lastly (for now), a section with useful website links and guides that are useful or interesting for your shiny hunting. In summary, I will humbly teach you all about shiny hunting in PokeMMO. Are you looking for inspiration about what to hunt? If you are looking for ideas about what to hunt, I recommend looking in one of my best Pokébud's detailed 2020 All Horde Locations - EV and Shiny guide. You can find every horde location in that guide - and it can provide you with interesting and alternative EV training spots if you feel like avoiding that shiny Tentacruel. As an introduction, Shiny Pokémon can be met anywhere in the wild (or from eggs). Known methods from the original games such as Mesuda and chain fishing are NOT implemented in PokeMMO, and thus you will have to settle with the set shiny rate in PokeMMO. In fact, we all know that the shiny rate in PokeMMO is 1/30000, which can be modified to 1/27000 with Donator Status or approximately 1/24300 with Donator Status + Shiny Charm (+10%) and so on: In summary, this means that you, for each encounter/hatch of one Pokémon, will have a chance of either 1/30000, 1/28500, 1/27000, 1/25650 or 1/24300 to encounter/hatch a shiny depending on the active modification of your account (see above-shown Spoiler section). This includes all sort of encounters, including wild encounters, egg hatching, swarm encounter and fossil reviving etc. In addition, it is NOT possible to breed non shiny Pokémon with a Shiny Pokémon: Important to remember: There is no stacking of encounters in PokeMMO The system doesn't track your encounters. This means that even if you are at your FIRST encounter or your 123456th encounter, the chance is still either 1/30000, 1/27000 etc. If you want your shiny, you have to be dedicated and patient. Whenever a shiny Pokémon appears it will appear with its alternative color, a sparkle and with "Shiny" in front of its name: Interested in more nerdiness about shiny hunting? If we are looking at the above-mentioned in addition to considering a binomial distribution, you can roughly estimate your shiny percentage chance (X = %) based on your encounter amount (Y): The best way to increase your chances of finding a Shiny Pokémon: The best (and fastest) way to increase your chances in regards of shiny hunting is using the Sweet Scent move () to encounter hordes. Sweet Scent can be used almost anywhere (grass, water, ground etc.) to bring forward a horde of Pokémon (2x, 3x or even 5x Pokémon at the same time). In fact, when you encounter a Pokémon horde, each of the (2x, 3x or 5x) encountered Pokémon will have their own chance to be shiny (1/30000 per Pokémon). In theory (based on a binomial considerations), this means that when you encounter a horde of either 2x Pokémon, 3x Pokémon or 5x Pokémon, your chances would be increased to approximately (~) 2/30000 equal to ~1/15000 (2x horde), ~3/30000 equal to 1/10000 (3x horde) or approximately ~5/30000 equal to ~1/6000 (5x horde) that one of the Pokémon will be shiny. You can see Desu (PokeMMO Developer) comment about it here. Another fact in the aspect of Pokémon hordes is the fact that there are no limitations as to the amount of shinies per horde (example). In 2016, Desu also stated some interesting facts (in a post) in regards of shiny hunting that are interesting to know for any shiny hunter: Secret Shiny Pokémon has been introduced to PokeMMO! In the update Changelog: 08/06/2022: PokeMMO's 10th Anniversary, Part 1 (link), a new species of Shiny Pokémon was introduced: Secret Shiny Pokémon @DamianTe has already written a nice summary of the new feature, which I have decided to include in this guide (open spoiler section): When it comes to shiny hunting, there are a number of methods that you can use, including 1) encountering Pokémon hordes using Sweet Scent (move), 2) single encounters, 3) egg hatching and 4) in the Safari Zone: 1) Shiny Hunting via hordes (best and fastest method) As a matter of fact, hunting shiny Pokémon via hordes is the best and fastest method as mentioned before: 2) Shiny Hunting via single encounters (for rares) Title says it. You basically hunt single encounters and hope you hit jackpot with the set shiny rate: 3) Shiny Hunting via egg hatching (for rares and elimination of the risk to encounter a common shiny) Egg hatching is the go-to method if you want to hunt rare Starter Pokémon, Fossil Pokémon or other rares without risking the possibility of encountering a common Shiny Pokémon in the progress of your hunt: 4) Shiny Hunting in Safari Zone This section will contain legal shiny hunting tools that can be of use to you for your hunts. Anything posted here are in compliance with PokeMMO's Code of Conduct. 1) The best way to keep track of your number of encounters: @Fixedgaming is one of our very best tool developer. He has developed a very solid Encounter Counter that keeps track of your hunt. I am sharing this, as I believe that knowing your encounter amount is what is the most important motivational factor when shiny hunting. As an alternative to this tool, you can just count your Leppa berries. @Gilan is also one of our very best tool developer, and he has created the newest encounter counter, which I believe most of the community is currently using for their shiny hunts: [TOOL] Gilan's Encounter Counter 2) HD Battle Sprites to distinguish shinies from nonshinies: @Verdep posted a very nice HD Battle Sprite mod that can be very important to use whenever hunting shiny Pokémon that looks a lot like their normal form. Installing the shiny package will help you not mistakenly fleeing from a horde containing a shiny. See an example of the visual here: This section will contain information about other useful guides or links. If you ever have any suggestions regarding additions, please feel free to let me know. 1) Shiny Existence Thread: https://forums.pokemmo.eu/index.php?/topic/55862-unofficial-shiny-existence-thread-5th-life 2) Find inspiration for your next shiny Pokémon: https://pokemondb.net/pokedex/shiny 3) 2020 All Hordes Locations - EV and Shiny: https://forums.pokemmo.eu/index.php?/topic/108705-2020-all-horde-locations-ev-and-shiny/ Note: I might edit this guide from time to time dependent on feedback from the community! 20. PokeMMO: Secret Base Basics Hello fellow citizens of PokeMMO, I hope you're enjoying your experience here so far. In the general discussions on forums, I saw a resurgence in questions about the Secret Base. Due to the amount of questions the community and staff receive often, I made this guide so if there are any more Secret Base questions, players can then be directed to this guide. As the Mayor of PokeMMO, I felt like it was my duty to make this guide. Without further ado, lets talk about the Secret Base locations and the shops that you can buy the decorations from. Basics: Types of Secret Bases: Secret Base Locations: There are 75 locations where Secret Bases Can Be Made Route Type Layout Location Free Dolls: Shops: Pretty Petal Flower Shop Fortree City Slateport City: Lilycove City Battle Frontier Shields As for the shields, you need to win at least 50 consecutive battles for the Silver Shield and 100 consecutive battles for the Gold Shield (this only applies to any activities inside the Hoenn Battle Frontier). -------------------------------------------------------------- As for the Pretty Chair (6,000 Steps) and Pretty Desk (8,000 Steps), you need Volcanic Ash in order to acquire this glass furniture. 21. Hi. I'm wondering whether hidden abilities, when added, will be obtainable by already existing caught and bred Pokemon? The reason I'm asking this is because there are rumours that they could be added in the near future together with dungeons? It might not seem that important at first glance, but there is a lot of players with 5x31 or even 6x31 Pokemon, which they have invested a lot of money and/or time into. Considering how important and powerful certain hidden abilities are, those nigh-perfect or even perfect IV and natured Pokemon may become obsolete - you wouldn't want to use them and nobody would want to buy them for PvP either. Things get considerably more tragic if the Pokemon in question is also a shiny Pokemon, as the ammount of time and money invested into breeding the same form of a shiny Pokemon is much, much greater. My suggestion would be to add a special ability pill of some sort as a rare drop in dungeons that would change the Pokemon's ability into the hidden one - that way people would have more incentive to do them (besides grinding for rare and shiny Pokemon, as is always the case). Or something along those lines... the main point is to let people make better use of their already owned Pokemon once hidden abilities are a thing. As as example of such a tragic occurance in case of only newly caught Pokemon having access to hidden abilities I present one of my own competitively bred shinies (I know it's not perfect, but it's very close; I'm sure there are plenty players with even better IV shinies) - a shiny Nidoqueen, which desperately needs access to the hidden ability Sheer Power to really shine in NU (or even UU): Thanks

  22. Hey everyone, Rated here. Before I start my story I want to give a little background about the topic and myself. I have been playing Pokemmo for almost a year now by the username Rattadda. I usually stay pretty quiet but some of you may see me participating in events or trying out my luck in the NU pvp field with my unique team compositions. I have always wanted to do nuzlockes of my own. I like the ideas of being limited on what you can do, using pokemon you may never use before, and having to play really strategically (especially in pokemmo). I had attempted ones in the past but never sat them through till the end, so with the new year and being at home I decided it was finally time to complete my first nuzlocke. I don't know if I will continue my story or if anyone is interested in this kind of adventure but personally I enjoy hearing about other peoples nuzlockes. So even if nuzlockes arn't your thing I hope you enjoy my story so far. The rules I am playing by: - Only the first pokemon from each area can be caught - All pokemon must be named (I went with a theme, can you guess it?) - no GTL/trading with players/trade evolving (trading with npcs is ok) - no gift/static encounters (starters are the exception. static meaning guaranteed encounters, like the sleeping snorlax or cubones mom) - if a pokemon faints, it's 'dead' and can't be used again - starters are based on the rivals true starter (in other words: Gary is known for having a blastoise, so I will take charmander) CH 1: Our story begins on Saturday, January 8th at around 11 am EST. I, Rattaddatoulli, was ready to start my pokemmo adventure. After trying to go on a suicide run into tall grass Professor Oak was kind enough to offer me a pokemon of my own. Gary was there too, and when Oak offered us our pokemon Gary would take squirtle so naturally I took charmander who I named Carrot. Gary of course challenged us to a battle but was no match and brought us our first victory. We then went on an errand for Professor Oak to retrieve his parcel, and were rewarded with the pokedex and some pokeballs. And with that our adventure began. Our first encounter was a ratatta named Cheese Puff. For our next encounter we managed to find a female nidoran, Raspberry, on route 22. Raspberry was the start of the crazy luck we would have with out encounters. After leveling we bumped into Gary for a rematch, again being no match for my and my team. We made our way to Pewter city, catching S'mores the pidgey in Viridian Forest and once Carrot evolved and learned metal claw, we had a pretty easy and uneventful first gym battle (unfortunately having to sacrifice Cheese Ball and Cheese Puff the ratattas from route 1 and route 2 to safely heal Carrot). CH 2: After beating Brock we managed to get our running shoes from our mom and made our way to the next gym in Cerulean. On the way there we stumbled upon another rare encounter: a jigglypuff named Marshmallow. Although our run was going pretty well, we would face our biggest tragedy: the nugget bridge incident. On our way to nugget bridge we bumped into Gary again. Although we again beat him, Gary didn't go down alone, as a critical hit managed to take down S'mores, our first major loss. This was only the start of the tragedy at nugget bridge. While battling through the trainers we encountered a sanshrew who knew magnitude. With no supper effective moves against it and most my team being weak to ground this ended up being tough. Raspberry weakened him down but was forced to swap out after a high roll magnitude. Carrot came in tanking a magnitude to finish him off with a fire fang and that was that. But carrot missed and was killed by another high roll magnitude. Meatball the mankey, Cheddar the sandshrew, and Watermelon the psyduck all came in to try and weaken him, but being under leveled were all killed by high roll magnitudes. finally it all came down to Raspberry, who in the end managed to survive another magnitude on 1 hp, and finish off the sandshrew and win the fight. These losses hit hard. We went from a pretty good rounded team to just Raspberry. But there is always an up with every down, as on route 24 we caught Onion the oddish, and on route 25 Keloggs the abra. Both of these pokemon would end up being a vital part of out team until the end and Keloggs made travel so much easier with teleport. With Onion evolving into a gloom we were able to get our second badge from Misty very easily. CH 3: On the SS Anne we bumped into Gary again for some good old fashioned pay back and got cut from the captain to fight LT Surge for our 3rd badge in Virmilion City. In the time between Misty and LT Surge we got some more encounters, but nothing of interest other than a magicarp, Fish Taco, we caught and dumped in the day care. In our fight against LT Surge I was planning to use the moon stone we got from mt. moon on Raspberry to become a nidoqueen and be immune to electric types. However I forgot to do this and i the fight against LT Surge, Raspberry was able to tank a couple hits, but after getting his magnemite in the red and activating his Petaya berry to raise his special attack, Raspberry was killed. In the heat of revenge Onion came in and was able to sweep LT Surge's team and get us our third badge. CH 4: On our way to Celedon City and our fourth badge we stopped at Lavender town and beat up Gary for old times sake. On our way there we managed to catch Crab Cake the krabby on route 10 (another rare spawn), but he faced a similar fate as Raspberry: activating a horsea's Petaya berry, which raised his special attack and killed Crab Cake with a hydro pump. After mourning the loss of Crab Cake we found a vulpix named Banana (a rare spawn in the day when i caught it) on route 8. We also went back to the day care for Fish Taco and evolved him into a gyrados to easily clear the rocket hideout in Celadon and get the Silph scope. Once Banana evolved, he and Nugget (a pidgey now Pidgeot we caught on route 11) made quick work of Erika and got our fourth gym badge. CH 5: With the Silph scope we went back to Lavender town, made it to the top and received a pokeflute which we used to remove the snorlaxes blocking the paths. We unlocked both Fuschia City and Saffron Ciry, and with our new super rod flew back to any routes or cities which had water for any missing encounters. It was then we got Escargo the slowpoke in Viridian city, and Sashimi the lanturn (guess what? another rare spawn) in Virmillion city as well as other water types from other cities. As we could now fly and didn't need teleport as much Keloggs was traded for a Mr Mime named Cupcake, who was then dumped into the day care and forgotten about. In Saffron City we defeated the dojo master. He was tough, and required Papaya the victorebell (a weepingbell from route 13) and Sushi the seaking (we caught in Fuschia) to sadly perish, but luckily with Onion being a bellossom now and knowing quiver dance, was able to carefully set up and defeat him thanks to their sacrifices. With our team now consisting of Onion, Fish Taco, Nugget, and Sashimi we went to save Silph Co from team rocket. Gary was there again and while fighting his blastoise Fish Taco set up 4 dragon dances (getting low hp in the process) and went for the 1 hit KO. However blastoise survived with a sliver of health and was able to kill Fish Taco, another big loss. We managed to beat Gary and Giovani and received the master ball but had to say goodbye to Fish Taco. Escargo then joined the team and quickly evolved into slowbro. Sabrina gave us our fifth gym badge and another easy win thanks to Onion's quiver dance. CH 6: With our fifth badge we went down to fight Koga. This was another uneventful fight and gave us an easy sixth badge thanks to Escargo's psychic, and Banana's extrasensory. CH 7: Now being able to use surf we made our way to Cinnabar Island and beat Blaine who gave us again a pretty uneventful fight and our seventh badge. However on the way there for BOTH our route 20 and route 19 encounters we stumbled upon a lapras, again a rare spawn. crazy luck CH 8: Once we got our seventh gym badge We were then invited to go visit the Sevii Islands. Once there we had to rescue an island from a biker takeover, however, during the fighting a ursarang using a burn boosted facade was able to 1 hit KO Nugget. Once we cleared these islands and got some more encounters we made our way to the eighth gym, Giovani for one final rematch. All of Giovani's pokemon would hit hard, but again Onion was MVP setting up quiver dances and 1-2 shot his entire team. With this victory we had our final gym badge and was ready to prepare for the pokemon league. CH 9: Of course Gary wanted one final rematch before the league so I happily destroyed his team. Once clearing the way to the pokemon league I had to go and decide on what my team would be for fighting the elite four. Currently I had Onion, Escargo, Sashimi, and Banana, but was missing two. After much though I had decided who my last two would be: Toothpaste the magnemite who I got from the Power Plant and Cupcake the Mr. Mime I traded Keloggs the abra for. When I picked up Cupcake he had gained a whopping 46 levels from the day care, meaning he didn't need much leveling to prepare for the league. Toothpaste on the other hand did need leveling, but luckily by this point I had 51 pokemon in the pokedex, enough to get the exp share from Professor Oak's assistant. After leveling the team and going broke on TM's in Celadon City, I was ready for the league. Lorelei was easily defeated using Banana's discharge and Sashimi's flamethrower, and Bruno was defeated easily using Cupcake's and Escargo's psychic and quiver dance boosted giga drains from Onion. Agatha was going well, until Toothpaste (now magneton) was sent in to deal with her last pokemon: arbok. I knew arbok could learn ground moved and expected something like mud bomb or mud shot, so sent Toothpaste in regardless as the rest of the team was low on hp and he had good special defenses. However I was not ready for arbok to know earthquake, which was able to 1 hit KO toothpaste as he did not have sturdy. Escargo healed and was sent back in to finish the fight with psychic, but we had lost one of our 6 members for the league. Finally it was time for Lance who started with aerodactyl. My plan was to start with Cupcake who was fast, set up a substitute to test the waters and swap if needed. Aerodactyl was unfortunately much faster and with a power herb was able to 1 hit KO Cupcake with sky attack on the first turn. Sashimi came in and killed the Aerodactyl with discharge, and the rest of the team finished off the rest of Lance's team using mainly ice beam. Now all that was left was the champion, Gary, with only a team of four. Incredibly Gary was defeated by playing very carefully without any more losses and with that on January 13th, 6:54 PM EST we were the champion. CH 10: With the league conquered there was one last thing to do before completing our adventure: finishing the Sevii Islands. We made our way there to help Celio complete his machine and collected the gems he was missing. In the process we fought many more trainers and encountered many new pokemon. I also lost Chicken Finger, a fearow we caught on treasure beach, to one of our encounters: a wild gyrados, who landed a crit with take down, taking both of them down in the same turn due to recoil. While in Ruin Valley on six island I encountered a wobbuffet, my biggest fear. Onion came in and paralyzed him and then got her low using giga drain. However the wobbuffet predicted this and using a crit boosted mirror coat, 1 hit KOd Onion. That one hurt. Onion had been with us for so long and pulled so much weight, only to be ended by a crit wobbuffet right at the finish line.... curse you Blue Cheese. After this I though it couldn't get any worse, but when fighting a smeargle with focus sash (one of the last trainers to fight on the islands) endeavor and ice shard was used to kill Banana. I was still upset about Onion at the time and foolishly didnt heal Banana after endeavor, this was the cherry on top. To lose two pokemon who had been on the team for so long to stupid mistakes felt terrible. With revenge on the mind Escargo and Sashimi went into the rocket warehouse, and ended team rockets reign on kanto. With that I also retrieved the last gem for Celio, who completed his machine which connected to Hoenn. And with that there was only one thing left to do: Cerulean cave. We flew back to cerulean city, and entered the cave. We made it to the bottom of the cave but Mew Two was not home (thankfully) and on our way out our repel wore off and we got Pound Cake the rhydon. And with that our Kanto adventure was complete. We flew to Virmilion city to look back at our encounters and losses, and made our way to the harbor the take our shot and hoenn. Survivors: Sashimi, Escargo Reserves in order displayed (not order caught): Whipped Cream, Cheese Cake, Tender, Raisin, Miso, Corndog, Blue Raspberry, Mango, Bubblegum, Fish Stick, Friend Snapper, Poprocks, Horseradish, Swiss Cheese Slushy, Popsicle, Snow Cone, Turnip, Protein Powder, Plantain, Rigatoni, Lemon, Penne, Jelly, Prune, Plum, Tortellini, Beer Batter, Spaghetti, Cream Cheese, Halibut, Pound Cake, Alphabet Soup, Muscles, Crab Melt, Clams, Peanut Butter, Lobster Bisque, Calamari, Clam Chowder, Cornmeal, Cheese Stick, Blue Cheese, Kebab Losses in order: Cheese Puff, Cheese Ball, Marshmallow, S'mores, Carrot, Meatball, Cheddar, Watermelon, Raspberry, Crab Cake, Fish Taco, Papaya, Sushi, Nugget, Toothpaste, Cupcake, Chicken Finger, Onion, Banana Thanks for reading, I had a blast doing this and helped work on my pokemon knowledge. You can fly to move around regional, after the start time. You can still join the hunt after the start time, but you will just have less time to find me - Leaving the start location of there settled earlier than the start time. - Being a toxicity to anyone without a proper reason. A: Yes , anyways in the city or town Q: Can I join the event after the start time? A: Yup Q: Can one enter tree bases without secret power? A: You can get into any base without secret power. You will need HM, therefore a HM slave or ocarinas, to reach certain bases. For shrubs and walls, you’ll see a hole. For trees, you’ll see a vine. Q: Should I bring HM slaves? A: Yes. If you have ocarinas, those can serve you just as well. Q: Should I battle trainers that I skipped before? A: It might be a good idea to do that, unless you can confidently skip them again Q: Will you move around? A: Nope, I’ll stay put Q: Can I work with people? A: Yes, but how you share the rewards are up to you. I’ll determine placement according to two factors: who finds me first and who requests a trade with me first. 28. At some point I'll go through the existing sets and adjust some of the ones that are under-performing and remove any that I don't think are salvageable, I'll likely do this sometime after gen 5 species are added as a lot of builds will be better or worse in that meta. I'd prefer not to reduce a Pokemon's possible sets to only their best one unless absolutely necessary though, making them unpredictable was one of the major goals. For Beautifly, it has two builds, one with Quiver Dance and one with U-Turn. Their win rates are almost identical this month (48.99% vs 49.00%), so there's no reason to remove either of them, lv88 is appropriate for both. Cases where a single build on a Pokemon is much better than the rest are already mostly handled by the monthly level adjustments. If an individual build has a winrate over 54%, its level goes down regardless of how bad the rest of its builds are. As an example, Dragonite's best right now is its Dragon Dance set with a 55.51% winrate, ~4% higher than its second best set. The average winrate of its species is 48.29%, but if its DD set's winrate stays where it is, it'll still be reduced to lv72 next month. Its worst set is its support-focused one with a 42.93% winrate, it's gotten a lot worse over time due to the level reductions resulting from its better sets so it would be a good candidate for adjustment or removal later on if it stays this poor. We can potentially guarantee that teams facing Shedinja have at least one way to beat it, but we won't be removing the species entirely, losing sometimes due to poor matchup is an intended part of the format. Shedinja should become less common as more species are introduced though, the rest of gen 4 will be coming next update.

  35. Considering I'm awful and don't have much time I wish the season rewards were a smidge easier to grab. Between people leaving to early or my tier not being as popular as OU or randoms it makes things frustrating.
