  3. In sum: - Mienfoo being the most used mon spamming u-turn makes diglett able to trap and effectively kill most of the stuff that can switch on mienfoo. This only makes mienfoo even more threatening than already is, and also helps its usage being too high, which is something we don´t want. (Or we shouldn´t want) - Diglett is legit the faster nonscarf pokemon to roam in LC, apart from elekid, which has to contantly 50/50 gamble against diglett. This speed allows it to outspeed and delete a lot of stuff that are slower than it (Which, as I said before, consists in pretty much everything). - Diglett´s trapping potential removes any sort of freedom the opponent would otherwise possess once diglett is on the field. - To top it off, diglett not only traps, not only outspeeds the vast majority of the tier, but also offers memento as a wincon. This, coupled with the fact clamperl ohkoes the whole tier after set up, and the fact diglett also gets rid of clamperl´s best counter in the form of tentacool makes most LC games a marathon towards: Who can memento, and set up clamperl first" TLDR; ban it.   5. I haven't touched NU in 4 months or so, and I haven't kept up with the tier changes since then, so I'm not sure of what's different now. What kind of playstyle do you see Druddigon fit itself into nowadays? To be fair, I think expecting any pokemon to not be able to set up rocks is too much to ask, since that's precisely the role of any rocker. So, I'm curious as to how this is an issue that is specific to Druddigon, but not other stealth rock users. I genuinely feel that a good NU team should not have more than one pokemon taking 25% on rocks, which means that the switching in pokemon should only be taking 6.25% to 12.5%, which isn't all that big of a deal. Dragon Tail surely hurts, but if you're running an offensive team, your moves should also be capable of at least 3hko-ing Druddigon. Which means the first turn you get to freely attack Drud as it sets up rocks, and the second turn you attack Drud while it either glares or dragon tails you. Again, if you're running an offensive team, Drud should be at 30% to 40% by now. Since Dragon Tail has low priority, you should be still be able to attack first, even if you're slower due to paralysis, unless you get paralyzed the turn while attacking. If you''re using a special attacker, or physical attacker with rock / ground coverage, you won't trigger rocky helmet + rough skin. The scenario you're portraying to me is that the druddigon user is going to pressure the opponent's team for an extended period of time. However, that will only happen if the pokemon on the opposite side constantly switches out vs druddigon instead of attacking it straight up front. This really should not be a problem with an offensive team, because otherwise it seems to me that the fault is with the teambuilding. If you have one designated pokemon in your party as the glare absorber and rocky helmet user, then Drud should not be able to paralyze other members of your team. A lot of this boils down to winning the 50/50 correctly, between Drudd using glare / dragon tail. Because if it glares into the already paralyzed mon, you regain momentum. If it dragon tails into a pokemon that is attacking it, you still don't lose momentum. That should still leave you with plenty of options to beat Gallade provided you're running an offensive team. To re-state what I said earlier, if you're running an offensive team, Drud should only get 2-3 opportunities to spam either glare / dragon tail. If there are any replays available of Drud doing extensive damage, let me know.

  6. Doesn't taunt prevent rocks or a glare para? I agree that rapid spinners take high damage from rocky helmet and rough skin, which is why it's in their interest to attack first before spinning. As the prevailing NU champion, here is my take on it: If Druddigon is running RH, it's not going to last forever, especially if you can toxic it. If druddigon tries to dragon tail you, you can switch in your own rocky helmet user to rack up the damage on it. Glare is a bit tough to play around, but it's not the end of the world if something gets para'd, especially if it's something slow as Steelix. Hell, being on the receiving end of a glare is super useful if you're wall like Slowking because that means no more getting toxic'd.

    this is really infuriating as it causes you to use moves in battle you didnt mean to use. every input on the battle menu has to be frame perfect, wtf? instead of checking if a button is down/pressed every frame, there should be some bit set until the button is up/released so that the effects of that button being down are not invoked 60 times in a second. not sure if this applies to keyboard input as ive only played using a gamepad.

  17. If you're just playing through the story you shouldn't be too concerned with stats. Anything with a beneficial nature should work fine. Once you get to post-game you'll want to guarantee that you have a good nature with at least 25 IVs in the important stats, and 31 in speed. For example, a Gyarados would want Jolly/Adamant with 31 speed and at least 25 in everything else besides special attack. As far as selling goes, anything with 31 will sell for a decent amount but there are other factors that determine values such as nature, gender, egg group, etc. I suggest comparing your Pokémon on GTL to other Pokémon being sold with similar stats in the same egg group to get an idea of their value.

  24. We know that the current encounter counter has some issues, such as being a bit difficult to setup and counting multiple times for any battles you don't run from. It will also count non-wild encounters, but that's a minor issue in my opinion. I propose that pokemmo either makes its own encounter such that it only counts wild encounters, and properly. Or, change the layout so that it becomes much more friendly to the current encounter counter, such as making an hp colored icon appear in 3/4 different spots for the 1/2/3/5 encounter sizes possible and doesn't make them disappear unless the battle ends, to prevent multiple counts per encounter. Edit: after some constructive arguing in global, the maker of the encounter counter could also add a trigger that works with "show overworld in battle" turned off. The program could check for the black background pixels that occur during the start of a battle, queue up one encounter check, and then not count again until the background pixels are no longer black. add a small delay to prevent route change from triggering this and it should work to only count battles once. here's a link to the current encounter counter i mentioned.

  26. The problem right now is that the only viable playstyle in NU right now is hyper offense. Sweep before your opponent sweeps you. Duels don't last very long in NU for that reason. In this meta, having a pokemon like Druddigon setting up rocks almost guaranteed unless you run taunt on all your mons is just too good. Sure, you can send your own rocky helmet user on the Dragon Tail, but Dragon Tail will still hurt you and 2 pokemons will get hit by the rocks. Slowking getting paralysed is good late game, but it still won't be able to set up in front of Dragon Tail Druddigon that will gladly die after damaging your team, keeping rocks on the field and then capitalizing on the paralysis to set up/sweep. For instance, Gallade was previously mentioned as a big threat that is difficult to counter. Druddigon really doesn't stop Gallade at all. It can lose to the sub + bulk up set since Dragon Tail doesn't have a great chance of breaking the substitute and just gets OHKO by most SD sets. However, Druddigon will remove a lot of good revenge killers for Gallade with a simple Glare. People don't want to counter Gallade with walls, because walls in this hyper offense meta make you lose momentum and end up as baits for huge threats. Most people choose to revenge kill Gallade and that's where Druddigon is so problematic imo.

If you'd like to go back to the region you were previously before getting to the port city in the new region (before 2 badges), all you need to do is talk to your mother in the first city. She sends you back until you can reach the boat.

    Español (Nativo) : Como ya sabemos el sistema dentro de venta del juego es muy.... tonto y restringivo, vender muchas cosas suele ser una agonía sobre todo para nuevos jugadores que no saben los precios o incluso a los viejos, cuantas veces no les han rechazado el comprarles algo porque piensan que es muy caro? es entonces donde empiezan las subastas, un lugar donde la comunidad le pone el precio y si ellos piensan que valen mas obviamente ofrecerán mas dinero por el. así no tienen que ofrecer nada por chats que no son destinados a ellos. un pequeño lugar en donde se puedan hacer subastas con tiempos personalizados estaría muy bien no se que opina la comunidad.     Alright, I always thought it was always a little annoying to do the puzzles for the Gyms in Unova. Not a big deal, but not I'm even more annoyed at the fact that now I'm being timed with the new amulet coin function. That doesn't add a challenge or any kind of fun to the game, it's annoying more then anything. I don't mind the new amulet coin what so ever, but don't make me run through a gym wasting 3 to 4 minutes, it adds up in the long run. This is clearly for people who have already beaten the Gym at least once, and this is for rematches.

  39. Our approach in the past has been to update everything where possible (exists in gen 5), including stats and move/ability mechanics/availability. This is why you're able to obtain a Flygon with Dragon Dance, a Pelipper with Drizzle (which lasts 5 turns instead of infinite), and a Raichu with base 110 speed. We've excluded cases that would cause balancing issues with the game however, usually preemptively before they could cause problems. For example; Knock Off has not been buffed due to its power/utility with what is available within a generation 5 environment. There aren't any mega stones etc to balance it out. Outrage has been kept at its generation 3 base power as it was concluded that it would likely lead to the bans of several dragons from OU at base 120. Dugtrio's base attack remains at 80. Arena Trap makes the increase to 100 excessive. This one was implemented for a while, but at a time when Dugtrio was already uber. Draco Meteor was removed from Hydreigon's learnset to keep it acceptable in OU. Technically implemented on launch, but not available to players as the tutor was non-functional. There may be a few more than the ones listed above, but those are the major ones I can recall. We will most likely take the same approach with generation 8's changes, implementing everything we can with our gen 5 base unless something new will have a negative impact on the game.

    I like this per-battle system, this would remove all the time constraints that people has been complaining about. It also kills the exploit where you can activate an amulet coin (AC) on an alt and farm a single trainer each day with minimal reduction of the AC timer.

    Either this, or they should really change their amulet coin to a per battle basis system. Like you'd consume it and it applies 50% more money to your next 20-25 battles. And the effect would expire in like six or so hours. This honestly removes a lot of the stress of the current amulet coin while still having a focus on the coin being consumable itself.
