Finally OT nr 15 after 32k encounters

So to explain: The width and height of the default eyes are 2x2 pixels. Many of our vanity items are shaped around this fact. The 'Happy eyes' were 3x2, breaking visual compatibility with many items, and were thus removed. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Our approach in the past has been to update everything where possible (exists in gen 5), including stats and move/ability mechanics/availability. This is why you're able to obtain a Flygon with Dragon Dance, a Pelipper with Drizzle (which lasts 5 turns instead of infinite), and a Raichu with base 110 speed. We've excluded cases that would cause balancing issues with the game however, usually preemptively before they could cause problems. For example; Knock Off has not been buffed due to its power/utility with what is available within a generation 5 environment. There aren't any mega stones etc to balance it out. Outrage has been kept at its generation 3 base power as it was concluded that it would likely lead to the bans of several dragons from OU at base 120. Dugtrio's base attack remains at 80. Arena Trap makes the increase to 100 excessive. This one was implemented for a while, but at a time when Dugtrio was already uber. Draco Meteor was removed from Hydreigon's learnset to keep it acceptable in OU. Technically implemented on launch, but not available to players as the tutor was non-functional. There may be a few more than the ones listed above, but those are the major ones I can recall. We will most likely take the same approach with generation 8's changes, implementing everything we can with our gen 5 base unless something new will have a negative impact on the game.

No matter how hard you try, devs will say no. And I did explain why. And so have they, hundreds of times. It won't happen. If it's too "slow" for you then I guess it's not our fault you're 2fast2furious. But it won't happen. Cause there won't be options anymore, no one would play it at the slower speeds because who wants to grind at a disadvantage?

I agree, paying for it will be huge advantage, so free for everyone. To make this game more dynamic and enjoyable for more players to be more popular you should concerned that. About PVP just leave it in normal speed, speed up 2x PVE, encounters (option in gameplay options 1x, 2x). Trust me many people don't play or stop it after while because of slow encounters and battles and what players already said this question was asked so many times, people want that and this is the fact. Please concerned that.

Yeah turns out my RNG decided to give me my first grimer/muk horde after 53 koffing/weezing hordes when I went to check that. My bad, will fix. Thanks for pointing that out! Apologies for the levels in this guide still being missing, life's been insanely busy and I've barely had more than an hour or two every week to collect horde data. Whilst I agree that not EVERY catching competition has a shiny prize, although it seems like it atm, I do think that they get far too many compared to tournaments which take a lot more time, skill and money. Anyway on to my point: (this is all for this month) Looking in the event archive and what's been announced so far, not including player hosted tournaments, there has/will be 19 catching competitions and 14 tournaments. Of those there has/will be 14 shiny prizes for catching and 6 for tournaments. That's 73.7% of catching competition prizes and 42.8% of tournament prizes that will be shiny. (Also not including the 5 CC's a week). I honestly feel that recently competitive players are being pushed away. Catching a pokemon doesn't deserve a shiny more (in my opinion) than someone who has sat through hours of battling. Catching competitions are getting 70% of the shiny prizes. I'm not saying take them away, I'm saying make it more balanced. Give players a reason to play. Something worth sitting down for hours for.

Your current analysis is "in the vacuum" and Pokemon is a game where you cannot make competitive decisions like that. You need to look at the metagame. Is there something I want to outspeed in this tier? Is there something that if it outsped me I would be in trouble? You need to figure out what you want to beat and choose your nature accordingly.

It would still be nice to implement something like this. Even if it can't count certain shiny Pokémon players have had in the past, at least i could start recording the ones that players do own and continue to capture. I would suggest posting this as a suggestion on its own if you would like it to be seen by others/devs.
