i don't really want this to be mean or to offend you but i just feel like i have to share my opinion of you. you are most likely the most boring person i ever met in this game and if we need to be like you to be able to play this game, i am not sure i want to play anymore. my last temp ban truely killed it for me. this game has just become no fun only pokemon i feel. i was expecting to quit this game becaus i would lack the time to play it, not becaus i am just disapointed by it...

If i were in your shoes i'd probably do the same. When you get targeted so much to the point where you don't feel like you can talk and be yourself in any public chat, that would kill the game for me too. People like Malorne who say things like "oh well dont say stuff that gets you banned then" clearly have no clue about whats been going on. Sadly, the poll shows that there are a lot of people like that. In my opinion, the problem with staff isn't located with the lower ranked ones. I don't think there's a single CM not doing a good job. The higher in the hierarchy, the worse it gets. There is no consistency there, context is something they refuse to acknowledge and transparency about how they work/who did what is something that is non-existent here. I'll give the example of my most recent mute (which was a few months ago, so dont tell me i need to behave more). First i got muted for 10k seconds for "harassment", i was told to talk to an SGM. After I did that, suddenly my mute got changed to 40k seconds and "racism" was added to the reason. I then had to find the SGM in question (because transparancy is zero, so you have to talk to basically all of them). The SGM then sent me about 50 sentences that were supposedly breaking the rules, we had to go through all of them only to come to the conclusion that there was no racism and I was right all along. Instead of then admitting the staff was wrong, they phrased it like i somehow "owned up to my mistakes" and the mute got reversed back to 10k seconds. It's this type of moderating that leads to frustration and a complete lack of trust in these staff. The fact that someone like @Dibz is apparently not good enough, but you have 2 objectively horrible, bad people as highranking staff is another reason why a part of this community is absolutely done with staff. That being said, goodbye Petard, it was very nice meeting you. It's always nice to interact with people that aren't basically NPCs.

These are not contradictory things, many people who do things to help people may not end up being liked by those people (e.g. kids hating teachers for making them do work) and that is something most of us brace ourselves for. This statement is vague, I am going to presume you mean in terms of how we handle situations as staff (e.g. rule enforcement etc.), apologies if I have misunderstood This is ultimately unavoidable in the sense that some staff members have higher tolerances for certain kinds of behaviour before they say to themselves "Okay this crossed a line, this person deserves a mute for what they said." etc. as it is a subjective judgement, however if you believe that a staff member is excessive in either direction (too strict / lenient) then please remember you can bring this up with other staff members, this also goes for cases like believing that staff are abusing their powers in certain ways as we are not immune to the rules we ourselves have to enforce, including such things as not scamming or harassing players. Any staff member that attempts to close this thread will likely get flak from the community for doing so, while this thread hasn't derailed it has definitely turned into a very tense discussion and is attracting people who seem to be unhappy with various ways that staff are apparently acting, I am willing to be the person that receives flak for closing this thread as I do believe it has run its course (the poll is unlikely to skew drastically to the point of giving a different impression) and valid complaints should not be posted in this poll thread but should be taken through the appropriate channels (preferably with evidence) if you genuinely believe there are problems that should be resolved with supposedly misbehaving staff. So, while I understand people will likely be quite unhappy with me for this, I will be locking this thread for the above mentioned reasons.

Every mute could be avoided if people used the appropriate channels for different discussions, some topics/language are just not appropriate for the global setting, but nobody is going to hunt you down for talking about them in team/PM if that is the type of environment you want/have built for yourself.

But sadly rn, at least there's 1 global mod, that I doubt he doens't use his powers to scam newbies, like he previously did. Also has a historial of being toxic, including in the forum, we have screenshots of that, even if they removed as proof. That one really nasty putrid bad apple aside, can't complain, I do think some are however too passive, or should at least try and interact with the community, come on, from the CMs, only Linfanz and Wuden are known, the other 2 never saw them anywhere, even here in the forum.

The Tier Council has decided not to ban Togekiss. While annoying, it doesn't really fit the criteria for a ban. Properly prepared teams aren't easily swept by it and the increased use of alternative defensive things tailored to beat it allow defensive teams to survive it. Offensive teams have stuff like Jolteon, Disable Gengar and well, strong attackers that outspeed it, and while Scarf allows it to bypass this last weakness its awkward speed tier lets other scarfers beat it anyways, not to mention weather abusers.

I'm the only one doing anything around here. These people just take all the credit.

2 wrongs don't make a right and you can't even begin to compare Noad with that Mod. Noad did amazing stuff for the community. It'll be like weighing a bag of gold against a bag of trash. From what I have noticed during the years that mod doesn't deserve to be there period. I agree with Razi on that 100% because I witnessed myself what he did. Rest of the staff are doing good atm.

There's just one mod, that actively insulted some members of my team heavily, and scammed lots of new players that I still dont believe they let in the team, I guess the need for a chinese mod was judt that big. Other than that one separated case, no problems with the team, sometimes they takes thing to extreme measures, but other than that, the team is okish

@ThePrettyPetard Please don't. I think at the very least, the entire community has been able to communicate with staff through this thread regardless of their opinion. No staff member ever gave me the time of day to at have a conversation about something controversial such as moderation in the past, so this is already a decent step in the right direction for me at least. I saw this on Monday when I still was in the army, and couldn't believe it. Roxxass and I met for the first time in vermilion PC, her English was pretty bad and it looked like she was a happy kind of girl. Other people including me sometimes, were making fun of her English and her positive attitude back then, not in a purpose to harm of course, we were laughing with her not at her. One day I had a talk with her in PMs and she told me she doesn't like her current team, so I immediately asked her if she wants to join RISE, even tho I didn't know if she plays competitive or not and how everyone else going to feel about her joining. She refused, but the day after she took the offer. Roxxass was such a nice and positive girl. I can't think of a person that didn't like her, and honestly, I really doubt its possible. Apparently she knew how to play competitive, and she kicked my ass at the first time we played doubles with a garbage trick room team. Me and Roxxass got very close as time went by, and we became a very good friends. She used to tell me about her week, and if anything bothers her, whether if its in MMO or in real life. She told me about relationships that didn't go too well for her and about her best friend that died not too long ago. More than once she told me she wants to end it all, but I promised her that me and RISE are always here for her. She used to send me her songs or drawings she made and wanted me to see when she felt a bit down or when I felt a bit down. It's been a long time since I heard her saying she would end it all, because she got closer to us, RISE, and considered us as her family. She used Pokemon as her runaway for everything. When I joined the army she wroye me a beautiful goodbye message in-game. She told me she would never forget me and I promised her I won't too. God's problem, is that he always finds a way to balance us, humans, so no one will be perfect and every single one of us will have a flaw. Roxxass was an angel. She didn't have any flaw. God saw he had made an angel, so he decided to put her in a very bad environment unfortunately. Roxxass' life were violent and more than once she had suffered from people who harmed her irl. I think of her every day the past week, my prayers goes to her family, may you be strong. I will never forget you. You were the best person the world could possibly know. Suggestion Translated from Portuguese to English: I think it would be really cool information like items, pokemons (all from Dex), Tm's and Hm's, Events, Trade, Map of Regions (all of them), to make it easier for new players to know and start hunting their Poke and enjoy game. This is my suggestion so that the site is not only to create the account but also to know more information contained in the game. I think it would look great! tl;dr: Its not possible due to multiple legal restrictions and programming restrictions and would be way more work than its worth. long answer: PokeMMO remains legal because the program itself doesn't relate to Pokemon. From an outside perspective, the initial executable for PokeMMO is nothing but random lines of code that don't relate to or correlate to anything in relation to Pokemon. However, when ROMs are supplied, the program uses these ROMs as a base structure and then the program itself puts an MMO paint job on top. This is cool and all, but presents a lot of restrictions and makes creating new regions beyond Generation 5 a pain in the ass. They can't create any new assets relating to Pokemon or else the game could be taken down, which includes cosmetics, 3D models, spriteart, etc. Then theres the question of how 3D would translate to 2D, because playermodels have to stay consistent meaning either 2D character models would have to be used in a 3D environment like Kalos (impossible considering the camera angles that are used and would be damn near impossible to program) or 3D character models would have to be used in a 2D environment (which would be a huge eyesore and damn near impossible to program) And this would all be done for what, 70 Pokemon? From a generation that wasn't nearly as well recieved as the 2D ones? It's too much work for too little payoff.

Could this be a regular thing? Let's say every few months or biannually for example. Q&As are a great way to be transparent with the player community, which is something that everyone would surely welcome.
