So, the Great @KaynineXL donated me some vanity items that I could sell to get some prize money for my hosted events. Looking at GTL, the value of these items could reach even over 100 million poke yen. Initially I thought I'll just sell them and put for World Cup prize pool but @xKicco already has dropped an absolutely incredible 100 million PokeYen donation to the World Cup. Not only I'm in complete loss of words for such incredibly large donations but now I'm faced with a dilemma that I never thought I would face. Would this be too much prize money to be all used in a single event? I personally wouldn't mind making the largest prize pool by far in the history of PokeMMO, I just want to know your thoughts as a community. Is over 200 million prize pool too much and should some be saved for some future player-hosted events like these, or do we just say "fuck it" and make this World Cup absolutely massive? This was just something so big that I don't think I should make decisions regarding this alone. So, I'm looking forward to hear your opinions, thank you.

I would defo save it and use for future events. It's better to have many more events with decent prizes (pretty sure 100m is a nice amount of $$ to divide between few events) rather than one, massive one :)

Currently, the only way to figure out when weather is going to end is to spend time scrolling through a battle chat. This is tedious and does not add to the battle experience. Same suggestion goes for screens, trick room, and tailwind.

You also don't need sprites, fancy moves, anything, a console, with plain text, would be enough for a competitive battle, yet we have what we have. Although it's not hard, there's no downside to this suggestion, and it would help, not in the sense that is gamechanging, but as a QoL feature, is pretty nice.

+1 for save it for future events. apart from community hosted events there barely is any hype that brings people together, so more events with a decent pool > one with an insane pool imo.

Hey guys, I have been bored these last weeks because OU is so repetitive. Every battle is Chansey, Blissey, Ferrothorn and Volcarona. So I went to UU and NU, to battle against different things. The problem is: the PvP rounds of UU/NU doesn't work right, and you never find battles, so I have to use my UU/NU teams against OU, what is not fair (it's hard to win battles with "worst" Pokémon than you opponent). Besides that, the Server Tournaments have low frequency, like, one tournament of each tier per week, so I have to wait one week to battle real UU/NU battles, and there's the chance of lose in the first battle, or even can't enter in the tournament, considering the limited vacancies. My suggestion is: to make one Community Combat of each tier EVERY DAY (or at least, OU/UU/NU) , in distincts periods of time, to make these low tiers beeing truly playable. The prizes can be smallers, like 200-300k, with the tournaments of the weekends giving shinies, but it would be a good way to the players escapes the monotonous OU. (Or fix the matchmaking of UU/NU). Hopeing that this can be considering by the game developers.

theres been plenty of suggestions about fixing UU and NU. devs think they know what we really need, thus nothing to promote any tiers but OU will happen any time soon. thanks for trying tho.

Well for comp players who have been in the scene for quite some time we think ahead in the battle. We don't always keep track since we think of multiple changes and things that will present itself during battle. So saying it's not needed, speak for yourself because I can guarantee you all comp players will appreciate this suggestion.

The idea of having 200Mil+ cash pool does sound great, but I think saving them for future events will be better (as long as the donators are fine with it). It will help you to host more big prize pool events and help other events, if you choose to. Even a prize pool of 50,000,069 should be big enough to make the world cup a big enough event and you'll save a lot of money for future events.
