Elite Four Location: Indigo Plateau(Kanto) / Ever Grande City(Hoenn) What is Elite Four? Elite Four is an area in Kanto, Hoenn and Unova which consists of four elite trainers and your rival where you'll have to defeat them all one by one in a row without using the Pokemon Center to heal your Pokemon(although you can use items to heal/revive/recover PP). Why do people do Elite Four? Well, everyone has to do it at least once to complete the storyline, but you can continue to do it after since it gives you a nice chunk of cash for completing it. How does Elite Four work? The first time you do it, it shouldn't be too difficult since this is what I like to call the 'storyline round'. When you beat the Elite Four, it gets harder. Once you beat the storyline round, it goes onto round 1, once you've finished with round 1 it goes onto round 2, and finally to round 3(Round 3 is the highest possible round). Are there any rewards? Absolutely. The rewards are great and it's the reason people continuously complete the Elite Four. Round 3(the max round) can give up to 62.5k +2k BP! (82.5k if holding amulet coin in the last battle). Anything else I should know? Yes, you should know that Elite Four goes on a 45 minute cooldown from the moment you enter. It is also advisable to make sure your first party member has an Amulet Coin held when you beat your rival because it increases your rewards. Team Ace: Every Elite Four has a Pokemon which is his Ace. The remaining of team is builded to work around this ace (providing resistances/imunities to effective attacks versus the Ace. Hints Elite fours members always carry 2 full restores. Champions carry 3 full restores They 'll use them uppon their pokes HP gets below 20%, or when they get a status condition and HP below 50%. The AI is kinda easy to understand, they ll switch to a specific counter (as they knows your moveset even if you didnt revealed all moves) They won't change to a properly counter if a neutral or not very effective hit leaves your pokemon 60% or bellow (must be confirmed) Don't forget to give the amulet coin for one of your pokes in the last battle. (It must participate in battle to work, however) Elite Fours doesn't use the same lead always. (Except for those which summon weather in weather-based teams. ie: ninetales/politoed) Current Personal Record You can help out below by giving info! There are missing items/abilities/movesets which I couldnt discover due to the circunstances (got sweept) I always Keep at least 30 super potions/6 revives (for safety) Kanto's Champion have more than 8 teams, (confirmed by @RacheLucario), I shooted 12 teams because the max time I got repeated Aces were 4. I'll be updating with new info I gather/info you guys could provide too. The teams are intended to be difficult to beat, not just steamrolled by one Pokemon with a type advantage. Monotype teams are simply not challenging to beat, so the Elite Four in their final rematch tier also use Pokemon of different types that were used in other games (Pokemon Stadium gives them some strange things), obtained in a different canon such as one of the manga series, or simply suit the character in some way when the previous categories didn't provide enough Pokemon to fill holes in their teams. The teams are not fully random. Each Elite Four member has multiple pre-built teams and one of these is chosen for each battle (unless the previous attempt ended in defeat). You'll need to make a well-rounded team that can defeat most opponents or find a good strategy instead of just relying on having a type advantage over everything. A guide exists and is being worked on - you might find this helpful if you want to farm the Elite Four for profit.

This is the biggest mystery to me. We have a game, which is based on game known for a wide audience. You make changes in it, to fit to MMO format but leave no information about it in the game. The only source are forums and veteran players. This is natural, ppl will play this game like originals (but online) and get punished because of that. Almost every single newbie-butthurt topic in this forum can be boiled down to player who did something which would be normal in originals but get punished by it in the PokeMMO. To be honest im not sure if I would play this game long enough if i found it today. Not because it's worse, it isn't, quite opposite, it's much better. I would probably resign after wasting my time to undo mistakes i did because game did not tell me about differences. Look at breeding, before you even allowed to pick pokemon an old guy will tell you, you will not get your pokemon back. Do i like it? Do i dislike it? Doesn't matter i know what is the deal. He gives me info about differences BEFORE i make mistake. While things like obedience floats up after you make a mistake and discover you can't level your Charizard to absurd level to sweep everything. Is this tactic a no-brainer? Sure, but this is not a player fault of using tactic that would work on handhelds. We miss info about increased difficulty, about obedience levels, about traveling through regions, about berry farming, about eggs hatching and probably even more. Im not saying info like this should be spammed all the time like daycare guy does. First time interaction (or even second) is enough. Stuff like difficulty differences and obedience should be stated even before player picks region or stater in my opinion. The point is, those are differences obvious only for old members because we get them one by one. And putting info somewhere in FAQ is not a solution. Ppl read FAQ only when they have a problem or have a question on mind. Which is too late to inform they waste all that exp on charmeleon and now they will need to xp other pokemon on belsprout and caterpie. tl;dr; differences between PokeMMO and originals should be more transparent to the new players
