What about Dailys? This is a MMO after all. Example: Dailys: Defeat 20 trainers. (Reward: 30k) Catch a Pinsir. (Reward: 10 ultraball) Evolve a Pokémon. (Reward: 10k) Defeat 50 wild Pokémon. (Reward: 20k) And more.. With 3 or 4 dailys for day and give money or item depending on the difficulty of the mission.

Alright so I had the feeling that confusion definitely did not feel like a 30% so after seeing @Darkshade's response on the other thread I said fuck it and went on and test it myself. with the help of @pachima and @ozzie1550 I wasted 45 minutes of my life spaming confuse ray and rapid spin. I kept track of the results in a spreadsheed because I definitely do not have to study for a final this friday; anyways, I did this 70 times with the following results: 42 times my pokemon hit himself in confusion and only 28 times the attack went through, giving an experimental confusion hut rate of 60% now I am no mathemathician but I think this does mark a trend, and I have heard from multiple people too that confusion rate doesnt feel nowhere near that 30% it supposedly is. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Birthday_problem Spreadsheet:

The idea of daily quests is nice but having a currency lime that is not. We already have 2 concrete currencies in game, yen and battle points. Pokémon and items can also be considered currency as well depending on how they are used. This also duplicates the gift shop in essence. The gift shop exists to reward players for donating to the game. Adding another currency into the mix is not a good idea. I would stick more to the reward matching the type of quest. If the quest is comp related then the reward is battle points. If it is something like capturing or defeating certain Pokémon items or yen are perfectly viable rewards. This is all just my personal opinion though.

Since we have a new meta with more offensive and defensive threats I think we should add damage percentages (similar to showdown). Would be easier to see how much a move does each turn, works on both ends. Ik we can see health % and it definitely helps, but imo only beneficial to see if a move would OHKO or not, but not to see 3hkos, 2hkos, etc etc. Also instead of adding it in another line during a battle, you could add it in that battle chat instead and would utilize that function better heres a poor ingame example heres a better real example: "The opposing Muk lost 29% of its health!" brings it to 71%, but lefties restores 6%, so it goes to 77%. much better to see your move do 29% than THINKING it does 23% because of the way it currently works quick maths

I agree that this MMO need more "side goals", out of shiny hunting, storyline, and competitive events

1) Your sample size is way too small. In order to see the percentages correctly you would have to repeat this test thousands of times over. Just because you have a static percentage that does not excuse poor testing. 2) This is a broad generalization. You are taking your own small sample and applying the results to the whole. For example, the odds of rolling any given number on a 6 sided die is 1 in 6. You can roll and get vastly different results in one study of the die. Repeating that test over and over you will start to see the numbers point to roughly a 1 in 6 odds for rolling any number on a single die.

This is the item list of treasure hunter that you can receive one per day, randomly of course. You could turn the treasure hunter into a daily quest giver that will earn you points (yes, aside from yen and bp a third point) that can later be used as a currency to buy said items from the treasure hunter, if you have gained enough points to do so. (leftovers, exp share, etc etc) And many more items that could be purchased through the NPC.

i have only encountered piloswines in giant chasm. The specific spot in giant chasm i sweet scent is the dark grass just past the cave in the chasm proper. Its literally only piloswines.

While update is great and all it's not possible to buy items/pokemons from the GTL while in battle with NPCs in storyline. Haven't checked if it's possible when battling other players but yeh pls i don't wanna miss a quick snipe cuz Bianca up my ass all the time
