Currently UU & NU struggle to find enough people to do games. I'v been searching for an NU game for approx 30 mins right now and I'm yet to find a game, even at peak hours. I was thinking, why not reward those who queue on the lower populated tiers which will in turn help out those who want to play games in that tier. I feel like people would actually enjoy playing those tiers if they could get in a game, but I for one don't even bother queue(at least I probably won't from now on) because I know it's so hard to find a game, and that's probably what other peoples mindset is too, so if everyone thinks like that nobody will find a game. When matchmaking fails to find any games in the 2 minute run, the game could activate a queue bonus. The reward could be anything, but for my example I'v suggested we give a chance to receive a PvP Mystery Box. Sorry for my bad photoshop work :< I suggest when the queue bonus is activated the winner of the match could have a % chance to receive a PvP Mystery Box. I'd say a 25%-50% chance would definitely give me the incentive to play. The stars on the tier tabs make it easier for players to see at a glance which tiers have queue bonus's activated. To go into more detail about what I meant: Currently, in normals, the matchmaking system requires at least 4 people(I believe) to be queueing up to create duels. If there is ever a time when the system notices there are less than 4 people in the queue when the round ends, the next round will have these bonus's activated. Pros Makes people actually use the tiers. Gives more incentive to use the matchmaking system. Gives more incentive to try new tiers, even if you're still a beginner to the tier. Helps out those who legitimately want to play the tier but struggle to find a game. Creates a new fun twist to matchmaking. Cons People could queue just for a chance at the loot(this is why I suggested only allowing the winner of the match to get a chance at the loot which would remove this con). Increase the amount of PvP Mystery Boxes and their contents added into the game. [spoiler]Yes, this system was used in WoW dungeon finder. It was successful as well.[/spoiler]

There have been countless legendary threads open, especially recently. The point is that they will add them when they will add them, most likely in dungeons. What that means exactly, nobody knows yet. But one thing is clear: they will be banned from official competitive play unless they become available to everyone. Then, if they become available to everyone,t he tier council will decide if any of them is banworthy.

It should be time-based (I don't know if it's possible to do it that way on these forums). Personally, I just spammed Welcome! and Nice to meet you! in the welcome thread till I hit the post count needed. Needless to say, my suggestions were absolute crap (besides Green Ponyta, that has always been my only good suggestion).

I think it's very silly they won't allow clubs. The issue with off topic wasn't the discussion threads for popular things like anime and smash, it was the other threads that were spam and full of bitching/bullying. I see no issue with an anime, smash, etc club. They would probably generate better quality threads than round table does (which is mostly spam and mindless chatter - which is fine imo but it's still not quality). Allowing clubs creates a sense of community and when I made one yesterday it was civil and honest. I'm hoping this discussion can be revisited but who knows.

I think this game has ALOT to offer. If we compare to the main games the level of player to player interaction is unmatched, even to showdown. We also have an insanely awesome customisation system in pixel art splender, a rarity nowadays. The main games are hacked to shit. Everyone injects and has 5iv everything, if you catch a shiny its pretty much worthless. In mmo it actually means something. The meta is alive and seperate from any other gens meta. We have elements from 6th gen through 4th gen. You gotta admit its nice not seeing legends on every team too. PokeMMO is truly unique. Its a modding and hacking masterpiece and circumvents many issues that led to other similar projects to their demise. We will always have pokemmo and as long as people are still playing then it will continue to evolve. We are truly lucky to play a game as amazing as this one.

I think we just did that with the implementation of the two new items. I think it's a little early for this thread, we haven't got the meta off the ground from the above - let alone put ourselves in a position to consider what effects the introduction of legendaries might have.

To be fair if he is saying that he doesn't find anything in the game enjoyable the most logical thing to do is to not play the game or at least take a break. Also people quitting the game isn't necessarily a bad thing. If people leave it may force the devs to work harder to retain the current base / attract new players.

Darkshade at many times has hinted that this will not be the case, and it has been mentioned that Dungeons will contain a legendary pokemon. I am fairly confident that they will be available to keep permenantly. Even if i'm wrong, there's no harm in some speculation, is there?

With the latest update i've seen a lot of my old "struggle mates" being put in a quite frustrating situation. Being one of the most experienced quitters in pokemmo, i think it's about time i start sharing my knowledge. My only goal with this guide is to help those who already considered quitting before, but always ended up coming back. I'm not saying everyone should quit regardless of what they're thinking; if you're having fun and you're satisfied with the game then why would you consider quitting? But anyway, let's get started The mindset The first thing you wanna do is to ask yourself some questions: 1 Am i having fun? If you're not having fun there's no point in still playing this game. A game is meant to be entertaining. Entertainment is what you were looking for when you first installed this game. The game has served it's purpose, it's time to move on. 2 Does all this grind pay back in terms of satisfaction or does it only lead to frustration? if you think all that grind is not worth the hassle then what's to gain other than frustration? it's not healthy 3 Has the game become a chore to me or do i still look forward to log in when i have the time? If a chore is not needed, then why not replace it with something more pleasing? noone's forcing you to play this game, you're free to have fun the way you see fit. Noone is gonna blow up your house if you stop playing for a few days. 4 Do i believe in the devs? are they actually interested in making the game more enjoyable? Pretty straightforward. Some of you are still waiting for features we've been asking for years. The game has been around for almost 4. how many more do you think will pass before you can call it a good game? do you think you will be able to endure all that stress until then? 5 Are there any alternatives? I won't suggest you any other pokemon mmo for 2 reason: 1 they all suck badly 2 i'd get insta banned What i mean with alternatives is games that offer you more or less what you already have in this game but with more quality to those specific aspects. I don't think i need to tell you how much better battle simulators are if you're only playing to compete. All that variety may be discouraging at a first approach, but it's actually one of the main reasons why they're generally considered more fun. In any case, there are for sure games you will enjoy more than this one in the long run. An old proverb says "the game is fun when it doesn't last long". if you're still unsure, ask fred to link you "the gospel" by senile. So what do i do? You finally realized you'd be better quitting. Maybe you realized that long ago but there's still something keeping you here. Fear not, because now i'm gonna guide you step by step Step 1: get the email/steam id/facebook/whatevs of all the people you deem important in your life. Most people who costantly complain but still play the game, if asked why they're still playing will respond "i got friends here". Truth is anything can be fun if you have friends with you. But it's also true that doing something actually fun with your friends is way better. Step 2: uninstall the game if you're too lazy to look for new games, then you're likely to also be too lazy to reinstall the game when you already know you're not going to have any fun. Step 3: Find a better way to spend your time i'm totally not the one who's going to tell you how you're supposed to live your life. All i'm gonna do here is to help you in getting out of a situation you're already tired of. The choice is yours. Step 4: Wait a few weeks Most people will reconsider the game after they get tired of their new hobby and go back to point 1 again, only to regret it. If you have finally lost every hope for this game and you're sick of being that guy then there's only one thing you must do Give away everything you have Restarting from scratch, especially if you're someone who owns a lot, is something noone would be ever willing to do in pokemmo. The only case in which you'd rather keep your stuff rather than give it to someone who could put it to use would be the one in which you're still considering the possibility of coming back one day. Giving away all you have means getting rid of the last things that kept your interest in this game alive. At this point you know what the game is, you know what to expect from the devs. You're still in contact with your old friends, you have no excuse to keep playing despite not having fun. Now add me on steam and join my minecraft server. There's me, tritios, generalvenican, and my cousin (girl), what more could you ask for?

Quitting is for the weak, get back to work watering your berries and beating up little rich girls for their money.
