As if the color wasn't bad enough

From scratch it already cost me 264,4k to breed a 3x31 natured Pokémon. Includes: Braces, Everstone, Pokéballs and Gender selection. I could even skip one step because I got a favorable catch. Don't worry I made the most favorable combinations and only selected gender when needed. I caught 92 Pokémon up to this point and narrowed 35 of them that had potential stats that I needed. Guess what, 70% of my time went to narrowing these Pokémon and over half ended up being useless. Brace prices really need to be reduced or we need better ways of making money and this suggestion is definitely needed. Narrowing really is not enjoyable at all and it takes easily the most time of all, I wasted hours on narrowing 35 Pokémon. Just stating that I really am not looking forward to exact IVs if we need to griiiiiiiiiiiiind items to make them exact. I will keep tabs on the costs of everything and all, not that that is relevant to this suggestion.

Since about any other move is updated to the later generations, it is about time to discuss Bullet Seed and Icicle Spear. When asking one of the developers why the power has not been updated, the answer I received was pretty much "because Senile does not want to". With the absence of abilities such as Skill Link or Technician, these moves are nowhere near overpowered and I would like to see them in game, as it would make a lot more pokemon more viable, especially the grass move which would provide many grass types with a good physical STAB move. Perhaps it is time the competitive community discussed this.

I agree with the first part and I follow that myself but I don't think it necessarily applies to the lower town hall levels. Especially th6 where you get very little in term of new buildings or upgrades, and it should less time to max th5->th6 relative to th4-th5. You could say why not wait it out, but imo it provides for a more enjoyable gameplay when you have 50 extra army camp space and an extra spell. I can say from my experience on my maxed th7, somewhat-newly th8 alt, that 250/250k+ loot is extremely easy to come by and most are from th7s and and located in the collectors. Loot gets progressively harder to find as you level up but th7 is really the nirvana. At other levels you either have people who quit to early, with low level collectors at th6> or you're forced to do (mostly) storage raids at higher levels but th6/7 is best place to find dead bases with high level collectors, like I said earlier. The Lower level defenses are somewhat made up by the number of new buildings you get too. Stopping giant healer is much easier with 2 ads and extra morter hurts batch. It might be tough at first if other th7s feed off of you but regardless, you should still be able to farm far more than you lose when you get raided. Lab upgrades aren't a big deal and can wait since you should be using -----> BARCH<------ hint hint, to farm anyways. War is another factor. The earlier you go to th7, the earlier you can start working on barracks for drags and upgrading war troops. Other troops can just be backlogged till you finish the important things my base couple days into th7 (05/26/2014); [spoiler][/spoiler] maxed out th7 (07/16/2014): [spoiler][/spoiler]
